I have carried this model of knife for many years now. They are not the most expensive knife by any means and as such if I loose one it’s not such a big deal. I usually end up putting another one in my pocket and a week or two later the lost one shows back up. It’s comfortable to carry and is built strong enough for a reliable everyday carry knife

This is a great EDC knife for small jobs. The blade was sharp out of the box, but after sharpening it up a little it is really sharp and holding it's edge after a lot of use. Very happy with it, so I bought my sons one too.

Just ordered my second one of this knife. No fault of the manufacturer but I was using it incorrectly and broke the tip off. I love this knife. It’s compact enough to fit great in your pocket but large enough to take on anything you may need. The blade it sharp! Ask my thumb it will agree with you. Perfect for everyday carry and would trust it in a defense situation if needed.

was sharp right out of the box and has retained it but i don't use it heavly only as needed but does perform well cutting open boxes would buy again

I bought this knife a year ago and lost it, so now I’m getting another. If you want a smaller knife for utility and defense (life or death of course), this is it.I go fishing regularly, me and my friends found a honey hole and caught 8 Trout. Forgot my filet knife so I used this little guy and it performed just as good, almost better. I’ve used pocket knifes to clean fish before and this one cut through like butter. It is ver sharp so be careful!It’s on the small side, but I’m small too. (94lbs), so for me it is perfect. Can’t go wrong with Smith and Wesson.

I didn't expect much when I ordered a knife at this price but man was I wrong. The blade is razor sharp , and the knife has great ergonomics. I'm a little confused by some of the complaints about the assisted opening. It's like people thought they were buying a switch blade ! The assisted open is just a knurl at the front of the blade and it works as ordered. I've had it fully open the blade and lock it with just a push , and I've also had it open partially and then used the knurl on the side of the blade to open and lock it. I'm happy with both. For anyone that wants a good work knife or a carry knife I would highly recommend this knife. I'm thinking of getting aa couple more.

The function is very weak, the spring is so weak it might as well be a manual flipper. The blade is slightly dull out of the box, not even able to slice through a piece of paper strait. Blade material is okay, definitely needs sharpened if used for cutting boxes or other needs. Everything else is reasonably decent.

Smooth action, very little play, solid lock, and a great price. It feels a bit small in my hand but it was purchased for my son. Spring-closed force doesn’t occur until nearly fully closed, so it should stay closed but have plenty of rotation to get your fingers away from the lock.
