I cooked the bamboo leaves as tea it was so good to drink alone or add ginger to cook then with honey it was so nice and makes me sleep good and it's calm the body I would recommend it to everyone

I bought this even with all the negative reviews because I wanted to make rice dumplings (Zhongzi) to celebrate the dragon boat festival. Living in a town without a Chinese grocery store, my choices are limited. The package arrived later than expected and, as other reviews stated, the bamboo leaves are small, mostly cracked and of poor quality. I found that boiling them first helped soften the leaves and made them easier to use. I had to use 3 or 4 together, overlaying them to cover the cracks and broken parts, just to wrap one Zhongzi. I also had to make my Zhongzi smaller than usual. Nevertheless, we are counting our blessings and feel very thankful that Amazon offers this product. We enjoyed our homemade Zhongzi :).

I threw away maybe 10 leaves out of 160 because they were torn or goofy colored, but in a package that big I think it's no big deal. I soaked overnight before using (which you should do anyway). Leaves were good size, worked great.

Contrary to some negative reviews, these came perfectly fine. Not a single leaf needed to be thrown away because of cracks. They are still bright green and revived very well after sitting in water overnight.

30% small leaves 20% broken i would try any brand next time
