BURTS BEES Medium Concealer, 0.22 OZ

This concealer is great! Not too heavy, not dry at all (it’s quite moisturizing actually), blends perfectly. I am so happy found this! I use it under the mattifying powder foundation from Burt’s Bee’s and it is a great combo!

I started to buy Burt's Bees and Honest cosmetics recently after watching a Youtube video regarding how many of our beauty/cosmetics contain microplastics which can be very harmful to our health. I have been using makeup and other products related to my facial routine for around 45 years now, so hopefully it is not too late that I am waking up to the harm these products can cause to health. That said, I just applied the Burt's Bees concealer for my under-eye darkness and I am very happy to report that it works as well or better than other products I have used for years. If interested in finding out whether a product contains harmful microplastics, an app called Beat the Micro Bead is very helpful. After scanning the ingredients in all of my old skincare, makeup, and hair products using this app, I found out ALL of them contained harmful microplastics. One by one I have been switching them out for safer alternatives.

This is a great concealer for sensitive skin. I only use it for covering up my pimples. I have also noticed that it has helped with drying those blemishes out while I have the product on. I gave this product a 4/5 stars because it's not full coverage, it gives the spots on my face and chest around 85% coverage. Personally that is perfectly fine for me as I have incredibly sensitive skin and most things make me breakout but this is the only concealer I have found that doesn't make my skin breakout.

As a fellow bee keeper, I will always use Burt Bees products and buy them on Amazon. Great expiration date (better then the ones I have order directly from BurtBees.com) price is even better when they do a lightening deal!

These cosmetics are hard to find. I have only found them at CVS and they are overpriced. I was glad to find this here. The light-medium color has always been a perfect match for me. It's moisturizing, blends nicely, and did not settle in the under-eye creases. Highly recommend.

I am a little disappointed.The concealer is definitely much lighter than expected and not as smooth as I had hoped. It also dries out very quickly. After dabbing it on several spots on my face, it is dry and difficult to spread around. Ah well; I guess I have to do one spot at a time.

Love Burts Bees products and those are hard to find in stores. Happy to get it online!

Horrible concealer!! For starters, this concealer is extremely light in comparison to other brands of the same color, it is streaky, does not blend well, and when applied under my eyes, left me with a bad reaction and two very irritated eyes!!! Had to take it off immediately. I was looking for a healthier/“cleaner” option and this certainly was not it! Do not waste your money.

With my sensitive skin, sure glad this product exists

As others have mentioned, the coverage isn’t great. That being said, I’m still happy with it considering I value clean ingredients as much as possible. I’d also agree that the pigment is lighter than other brands. I went one shade darker and that was the right move.

I wanted to love it because it’s clean and I love Burt’s bees. But the coverage is not great. I don’t have crazy acne or bad dark circles. I’d say for a bit of coverage when you don’t need much since it’s a clean beauty product it’s worth it. And I would say the lightest shade is similar to Nars creamy concealer in vanilla. If you do three coats it covers well enough but still not all (even tho that’s hard to do). But you shouldn’t need to do that so be careful if you want real coverage

I didn't find this to have enough coverage and it didn't last all day. Very drying on the skin.
