Great for making tea
I, or I should say my wife, are growing this Herb in our garden and use the leaves in salads, stir frys and sometime just eat the leaves by themselves. So purchased these dry leaves to make tea. Still figuring our the right ratio of leaves to water for our tastes but it's great product and packed well. It has a sealed bag inside the outer zip lock bag.

No TEA LEAVES
I purchased this item recently and received the 2 packets yesterday. It was very disappointing th to realize that the majority of the contents was hard pieces of stalk /wood . I would think twice before i purchase this again .Tea leaves are supposed to be leaves not pieces of dried wood .

Expensive for the amount you receive
I purchased the dried Sambung Nyawa for my health. I followed the instructions on the package -- "Rinse the herbs with cold running water; then soak it for 30min. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for a further 2 hours. Keep refrigerated and take 1 cup 3 times daily." After simmering it for 2 hours, most of the weight of this package were the plant stalks that were still too hard to ingest. I threw them away. The rest of the plant leaves came to about 1 cup total. I'm assuming their instructions to eat 1 cup a day is a misprint - possibly 1 Tablespoon 3 times a day?? That's a hefty price tag for throwing half of it away. You could make tea with the stalks, but that's not what I purchased it for. The flavor is surprisingly good -- in between spinach and collard greens but sweeter than either of them. The price tag earns 2 stars -- the flavor earns 4 stars -- so 3 stars it is.
