Q: I can't get this bra open. How does the clasp work?

There is a Chanel on one side and a bar on the other you need to take the bar and slide it inside the Chanel is a bit tricky at first but if is very hard to do maybe your bra needs to be returned maybe is not you but a malfunction with the clasp

Q: what is hook and eye closure made of?

plastic--it is quite easy to use and very secure--unlike some others I have tried!

Q: How do the cup and band sizes compair to lane bryant bras? shoud i order the same size i wear in lb bras?

I haven't worn a Lane Bryant bra, but this bra runs true to size compared to a great number of other brands. It is a nice fit.
