Better than expected!
Bought this for my vertically challenged wife. She put it under her desk at work and she loves how it corrects her seated position. No more chair cutting into the back of her legs. I was surprised when I assembled it to see that it’s pretty well made.

Sturdy 100% wood adjustable platform that holds a very comfortable memory foam cushion foot rest!
Sturdy 100% wood adjustable platform that holds a very comfortable memory foam cushion foot rest!Quality item. Was a bit of a challenge to put togethe - can use better pilot holes for screws and use larger fonts and clearer diagrams in the instructions. For desk use this foot rest is perfect. I usually don't need/want to change the foot rest height sitting in a desk chair.Sitting on the sofa, foot rest is initially comfortable but awkward to adjust the height while seated. Involved getting up, picking up foot rest to move the dowel under the hinged wooden platform to the desired height. Then I put it back in place and relax. After using the foot rest for a while, I got used to adjusting it, but wished it were spring loaded so I could adjust it with my foot (like a desk chair). I noticed random rubber rectangles appearing on carpeting near the sofa. After lifting the platform to adjust one day, I noticed a lone rubber rectangular foot and solved the mistery. I have set aside the rubber feet for now until I figure out a way to attach the without coming off the base again.I like the footrest and have used it almost daily for the last three months and it still works and is comfortable and attractive. Since it's made of wood and the memory foam cushion, it doesn't clash with my living room decor and is fairly neutral. While having a springloaded adjustable footrest is a want, this footrest actually meets all my needs

Perfect height
This has just enough height for under my desk at work. Keeps my feet up a little to ease pressure on my knees.

Looks nice and comfortable
Lots of options on foot rests. I chose this one for the nice design and foam topper. It was easy to put together. I would say to tighten the screws evenly on both sides and not one side and then the other.

Great footrest, questionable assembly
When you get this, it comes in seven wooden pieces, with the padding that just sits on it afterwards. The assembly instructions are fine and simple, the screws provided work well, but...At least with mine, the hex wrench didn't fit right on the short end (the torquing end), so I had to get my own hex wrench to assemble it.And then when I was putting in the two cross pieces, they both cracked on both sides, even gently putting it in. I see at least one other reviewer with a similar problem, so it's not just mine. The wood was splitting as I very gently screwed it in by hand.I got out some wood glue and pushed some in the crack and coated the top to help prevent it from cracking any more. Hopefully it holds. So, assembly: It takes maybe 10 minutes, but you may need your own tool, and you may need wood glue to help brace it, or a drill to deepen the holes beforehand. Or just cross your fingers.Afterwards though, the actual footrest is really nice. It has four height settings for the angle, and the foam is nice and sturdy for it.

Okay- but not what expected
Great idea-but not great quality. The screw holes were not drilled deep enough to correctly connect with screws supplied. It is rather wobbly.

confirmable footrest
This is a pretty simple strait forward designed bench, just make sure you place the poll below the board, so you do not end up having to remove it later and place under it. the poll helps to change the level of the board for your foot placement. The material seems to be a lightly dense memory cushion type that will conform to your feet and movement. It will hold its form for some time before relaxing back into its original form. As far as putting it together goes it's not too tough overall it just make sure you check the instructions, so you do not put it together upside-down.
