Casio GA100L-8A XL Ana-Digi G-Shock: I've worn mine every day for 7 months now. Great quality. Would definitely buy again. Con: Had to look up the instructions online to set everything. The backlight is sadly dim. USA!

Workhorse watch with some notable cons
I've worn this watch just about every day for 3 years. In that time, I've taken it everywhere from lake bottoms to mountaintops, and it still functions the same as the day I took it out of the box. So as far as durability goes, you couldn't ask for a better watch. It also looks really great, it's chunky enough to look neat but not so large that it's obnoxious, and the neutral tan color means it works with just about any outfit. Additionally, this watch is extremely inexpensive for the amount of utility that it provides. Just shy of $80 for a watch that can take being throw off a cliff is pretty tight.This watch does have some pretty standout drawbacks, though. Primarily, the light on it is not an indiglo, it's literally a small orange light that barely illuminates the watch hands. You can't see the digital display AT ALL when you're in the dark, which can be pretty frustrating. Additionally, there are times of day when the watch hands completely cover the digital display, and you just have to wait 15 minutes for the hands to move out of the way. Finally, you basically need to user's manual in order to understand how to use the watch. The buttons all have multiple functions depending on what mode you're in, and in three years of ownership I'm still not sure I know what they all do.In summary: If you need an affordable watch that just won't quit, you're a patient person, and you don't mind a little reading, this is the watch for you. If you're willing to shell out a little bit more money though, Casio has definitely made better watches.
