It's ok
The train is very compact. The way the train is made is neat and it resembles a real bullet train. I was disappointed in the magnets used to hold the other cars, the hold is terrible.

Basic Toy Die Cast High Speed Train set
This is a set of 4 toy high speed train cars. Two of them are passenger cars and two are the end-locomotives. The box says they have strong magnetism but the Amazon listing says weak magnets. The cars actually have weak magnets that can hold them together, but it does not take much to bump them apart. The top of each car is cast metal but the bottom of each is plastic. The two locomotives can be pulled back to cause them to launch, but if the train is assembled only one will work since they go in opposite directions. The set is mostly well made and should survive most children. Some of the stickers are off from where they should be located. Several of the stickers are in Chinease. Overall the set is okay as a toy. Might be a bit too expensive for what you get. Maybe get it on a sale.

smaller than expected
I got this train for my 4 year old son. He loves trains and have been asking for a high speed train. He was very excited when he saw it. It is smaller than what I expected. It would've been nice if it was a bit bigger so that it can fit on wooden train tracks. The magnets were quite weak. My son got frustrated often when the trains detached. It's an okay toy.

A fairly unique toy, moderately detailed and realistic, good pull-back action
My grandkid really liked this toy, and I can see why. You don't see a lot of bullet-train toys, making this pretty unique even among toy trains. It's not as intricately detailed and heavy as some higher-end toy vehicles, but it's got some nice detail, and overall it does a good job of replicating the look and feel of the real thing, including engine-cars at both end. The interior is less detailed, but that's fine unless you're a collector who studies the inside with a magnifying glass--for a more casual user, not to mention a little kid, it has enough detail to look good in normal use as a toy. The magnetic hitches hold fairly well, and the pull-back mechanism works perfectly. All in all a really nice toy.

Toddler loves it
My toddler loves this even those she’s so young, magnets can be frustrating for her but it’s fine. It’s a simple train toy but it’s fun for her.

Looked old and damaged.
The shipping box was fine but the actual packaging was like it was fished out of the trash. The trains were scratched and come apart as you try to turn them. BOOOOOO

Nice details
Very realistic, but graphics are in Chinese. A little disappointed with the magnetics, says strong but weak. When the kids roll the train it will disconnect. Still they are having fun with it.
