It works well, though perhaps not quite as powerful as her 'name brand' version, for the money it's pretty good value and with a few repeat applications it's a good solution for semi-permanent hair removal.Recommended!

You might mistake this laser hair removal device for a movie prop from a 1960s Sci-Fi movie. But I personally like the design, as it somehow blends retro with high-tech aesthetics. The "pink" colour, I'm not a fan - but that is more down to personal preference.The instructions are reasonably well detailed and understandable, but there are also video tutorials you can look at online (should you be of a younger generation and prefer video guide.) There are different intensity levels, and I would suggest you start low and see how you get on. There isn't really any pain during use so far (as I've not tried the higher levels yet) but much less tear-jerking than waxing! Plus it is quicker than using hair removal cream all the time.The product information on this Amazon page includes a diagram "Is IPL right for you?" which shows what skin tones and hair colours this device will work on. I would recommend you have a look at this before buying, to ensure it will be effective (and safe) for you.Don't expect it to work miracles from the first use, you'll have to stick with this for a few weeks in order to see the best results. That being said, so far I've been pleased with the results (even if it has meant shaving a bit more often before using the hair removal.) This is quite time consuming to use, so set aside a period each time for your body-scaping. Also make sure you use this consistently, don't forgot or miss what areas you have treated and so forth. Thankfully the size and weight of the device means it isn't difficult to hold it while you are getting to grips with it.
