Laser7036 JIS Screwdriver Set 4pc, Black

Very simply, all cross head screws on Japanese motorbikes use the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) head system, not Phillips or Pozidrive heads.If you don't use the appropriate JIS screwdrivers on them, such as this excellent set from Laser Tools, you WILL wreck the screwheads.In spite of reading about this on many occasions, I'm as guilty as anyone of making do with my existing screwdrivers over the years and have had to resort to an impact driver because the screwdriver cams out of the head.Well I've finally bought the right tools for the job and I'm very impressed with them. One of the airbox screws on my bike was mangled terribly, but to my astonishment, the Laser screwdriver just undid it. The screw is now in the bin and David Silver Spares has another order.I've had Laser kit a lot over the years and as usual, this set is well made, keenly priced and promises years of service.I have no hesitation in recommending it to you and I guarantee that you'll be delighted with just how good it (literally) feels to use the right screwdrivers on your bike.

I have been refurbishing a vntage Yamaha motorbike and always thought the screws were simple pozidrive! They are NOT and these screwdrivers fit the screws perfectly.

Good basic JIS screwdrivers.Perhaps not quite up to Vessel standard but still very usable at a lower price.Good value for money.

An excellent set at a good price. If you work on Japanese bikes (or presumably anything else made in Japan) you need these. Give a much more secure fit in the screw head than Phillips screwdrivers and don't 'cam out' when turning, so you can undo screws without damage. Wish I'd known they were available years ago.

These are excellent. Very well made, arrived next day and a joy to use. Previously, I'd been making do during my vintage Honda motorcycle restorations with 'other' non JIS drivers. I now wish I had switched to these much sooner. If they had the word 'Snap-on' printed on with 6x the price tag, you wouldn't feel short changed.

For years had issues with damaged screw heads on my bikes, but turned out I was using the wrong screwdrivers. New ones are great and although not cheap the quality of the tools is very high so worth the purchase price. I have recommended to other bikers

Work great on my bike and its derailleur system for which I bought the set for and I will not use anything else from now on as they fit all the screws on my bike perfectly.

If you have a Japanese motorbike, you’ll have need these as the look like Phillips screws are not (apparently) this stops them being damaged. I haven’t used them yet, hence 3 stars but from other revues they are perfect.

Fits almost all philips screws perfectly which are mostly metric.

For the price these are great. I usually buy Vessel, but thought I’d give these a shot (based off the reviews) and I haven’t been disappointed. Good stuff.
