Avoid. Defective manufacture. Particles in the water!
This was a real disappointment. I decided to look for a glass kettle when I listened to some stories about plastics tranferring toxins at high temperatures, so I purchased the ASCOT Glass Kettle - cream colour. At first I was super delighted, unique design, cream colour blends well like my previous, boiled water fine. Refilling the kettle via the nozzle was a bit weird but got used to it. But the real problem started happening about 2 months after purhase. Particles in the water! Weird small bits of plastic floating in your tea! I cleaned it out a number of times to test, everytime more particles came back. My conclusion is the workmanship or design is defective or uses inadequate materials for a hot environment. This was a total diasappointment and now I'mu just boiling a glass jug on the stove and it's my favorite way to get water. Wouldn't trust this company to make appliances.

Lovely looking kettle.
Good quality kettle, nice looking.Just pop in a descaling tablet once a week to keep looking perfect.

Broke after a few uses and no support from the manufacturer despite coming with a guarantee.

Awful. Stopped working after 3 months. Terribly difficult to contact any customer services for a refund.
