This does actually works! It takes times to see results so you have to be patient and consistent. I was going to return it because I was not seeing much results after using it for about 2weeks like the direction suggested but decided to keep it and then started using it every other day and started seeing results. Thicker hair does take time. The only thing i dislike is fact how much you clean, the burning/residue does not come off it’s very hard to clean the glass
