I’m delighted my husband thought I was daft repairing old jeans but they’re for home wear so now they have a new lease of life. He had to admit I was right. The patches ironed on no problem

I ordered this 10 pack of premium Quality Denim Patches for Jeans repair from Amazon seller Fuzvol.At £2.99 they are certainly not an expensive option for patches, and there is a wide range of shades for pale to indigo. The patches do appear to be a denim-type material however they are lighter weight than any denim I own. I mean, that's ok, because they can be pliable and easier to manipulate. But just to be clear if you are expecting denim offcuts etc.Unfortunately, there are no instructions so you have to guess how to proceed.I opted for a very hot iron. I do think it's a bit unfortunate that there aren't even instructions on the listing.One side of the patch is plain fabric and the other side is shiny with a backing sheet (although the backing sheet is falling off on several). if you stick the patch on the outside, it sticks pretty well.If you stick it on the inside of the garment, which is what I needed to do, , unfortunately the shiny side shines through the hole. Hopefully that will fade over time. I've only just stuck it on though, and so far it does seem to adhere ok.Time will tell and I will come back if there is anything good or bad to add.Three stars.
