Ignatius Catholic Study Bible: Matthew Paperback – Illustrated, 15 Oct. 2010

The Ignatius Study Bible: Matthew is the most comprehensive Study Bible of St Matthew's Gospel of its type. Whilst containing the actual Bible text (so you don't have to keep swapping from Bible to Study Bible) the explanatory notes are not only conveniently on the same page as the corresponding Bible text, but they are extremely interesting and informative. Thus they give the reader a deep understanding of the words of the text without being too theologically deep! A 'must-have' for any serious Bible reader! I thoroughly recommend it.

As Rev Stewart, our leader of the Bible Study Group in Worthen has retired to the Wirral, we have decided to study Mathew's Gospel. We will be using this material for future meetings

I would have given it 5 except that It was not clear to me that this book was a reprint taken from the “Ignatius Catholic Study Bible New Testament, which I recently purchased from Amazon. I thought it was an additional work.
