Hikari Organic Instant Miso soup with Malted rice KOJI - 10 meals set of 4 tastes - Healthful Reduced-salt Miso soup with Chopsticks

We used to live in Japan and there were so many different instant miso options. We've tried several brands, but this is by far our favorite. It's perfect for putting in a lunch bag for a quick lunch or when you need a snack in the afternoon. The price seems reasonable.

its my fault for not knowing a lick of Japanese, I hate fish but the miso soup packets are amazing! I could see this being really good if it wasn't all fish flavored or some type of ocean animal. I think its a really good deal for the amount of soups you get. Each Soup comes with a dry veggie mixed with either dry fish cakes or tofu/seaweed I really can't tell what it is. Very filling and flavorful. A must try for all you seafood fanatics out there!

Although then soup takes great it not a good value for a prepackaged food. It’s essentially two dollars per serving and a single serving is insufficient to make s 14 ounces of fluid. Which I consider equivalent to what a restaurant serves. It really takes two packets to create the same consistency. Essentially, having a total of five servings for $20. I think that is high for a dry good like this. I bought another brand which provides 32 servings at a lower price and it tastes decent.

Soup is very good, but the packaging was printed in 100% Japanese. Being 100% Caucasian, I found more than challenging to figure out what I was Looking at.

Delicious, 10 servings, 4 types, just as described (if you choose that option). There are 20 packets overall because each serving requires 2 packets: one of the dry ingredients and the other of the miso paste. Everything on the packets is in Japanese so you can't count on having directions (unless you can understand written Japanese). To decide how much water to add, consider how much soup you get in a Japanese restaurant and make your best guess.
