This is climbing/rescue/hoist equipment. NOT something for your pooch. Unless you are walking a TREX around your local park. Get a grip, and get something more suitable. there are smaller non rated versions of this that wont break Fido's neck when he belts off and gets his lead caught on a post. (sorry but there are far too many people on here buying this for dogs.... why?)As a climbing clip this works well, a good addition to your rig when needing to reach for something that could be fiddly to open a biner when outstretched, you can pre arm this latch before hand.I have also used this as part of a rescue rig in industry, on a fixed pole with rope to attach to an unconcious persons harness, it works extremely well.You could also apply this technique to a beginner in a fix that requires a new line attaching halfway on a pitch. if it was a worry that they wouldnt attach a biner correctly. however you would need to make sure there hands were well away after attachment.There will be many applications for this whatever your rigging based pursuit is and i think it is well worth the money

Another great piece of kit from Kong.I just wish the hole for the lanyard/rope would take 11.3mm dynamic rope which is my particular need. But l’m sure it will be put to good use in other areas of my sailing journeys.

I like it! One handed attachment of kit, one handed release. I have to carry heavy kit, wear thick gloves and hooking and unhooking is a pain. But this is big enough to grab one handed and push on. No messing with wire gates, trying to slide loops up or down, push the sides, push forward and locked solid as a rock.Would recommend. It's also like a fidget toy. Very satisfying

I ordered an original Kong product not a false crap. No branding. No serial number. No CE number. Not a mark on it. In the offer that is an original Kong Frog but I got something similar from the middle of nowhere. It can be dangerous.
