I had ordered this stainless steel 1-inch tube as a shower curtain rod and I am extremely satisfied with the overall great quality and packaging. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than others (like from Moen) but the quality is vastly superior to any other rod I had seen. I needed something to replace a white crappy tension rod over my bathtub.Before I had ordered this one, I ordered numerous other rods from other sellers... They either arrived damaged, were curved when the description said it was straight, where too short (I needed just above 64 inches), and none of them were genuine "stainless steel". They were all chrome plated brass, flimsy (thin walled) and in general not what I was looking for.No so for this item. It arrived VERY WELL PACKAGED, it is 100% stainless steel (not plated), and has an overall polished look to it. I was surprised about its weight - it is quite heavy compared to others, but paired with some "Moen 63-F Donner Shower Rod Flange Set, Chrome" it is very well anchored to the adjacent walls. So I am confident that I can do my morning chin-ups after leaving the shower!Would buy again!

Looks like great quality but no need for the lettering, or add instructions on how to remove. Package we'll.

I use these for house mounted flag poles. Super sturdy and don't get bent up by the wind.

I want another one just for keeps. This thing is so daggum beautifully polished I ran around showing it off to my neighbors when it first came in. Shipped in an extremely stout tube with screw-set metal caps and a protective bagging. Usually you order stock and it ends up laying in the back of a truck for a few extra days because it fell out of the box. Not with these guys! It is tubing, not pipe (measured OD, not ID), and the welded seam is visible on the interior. Also, there is specification printing down the length. Not sure if acetone will remove it or if I will need to carefully polish it off without harming the magnificent finish present. I checked it's composition as best I could and it appears to be the good stuff - marine type low tarnish 316L. I have not yet verified the "L" but should be able to tell after the welds have been used a while.

This pipe is solid. Very heavy duty. Well packed, no scratches. Use paint thinner to get stampings off
