Works well but unfortunately not suitable

the display of the voltage in use is very useful to check that you're not about to fry your kit with a big over-voltage.The connectors were pretty complete and i find they fit accurately into the equipment sockets.I would have liked the polarity reversal connector to be better labelled or coloured so that i can check i'm not about to zap my device.

Stopped working after a month.

I ordered this variable power supply for its versatility in DIY electronics, but unfortunately, it let me down right from the start.The kit itself is impressive, with a wide array of adaptors and leads that cover many connection methods. The main power supply unit is of good quality and very user-friendly. You simply turn the knob to power it on, and keep rotating to increase the voltage or turn it counter-clockwise to decrease it. It’s sensitive enough to dial in precise voltages easily. However, you must set the voltage before connecting it to your equipment to avoid overdoing it and potentially damaging your device.I tested it on a simple LED strip light that required 3.2V and used the crocodile clip lead. After dialing in the voltage, I connected it, only to find the LED flickering or not lighting up at all. Testing the LED on another power supply confirmed it was fine. Upon inspecting the lead, I discovered the soldering on the crocodile clip was faulty—a blob that didn’t properly adhere to the clip.This experience made me question the overall quality control and left me with little confidence in the rest of the kit. While fixing the lead by soldering it properly is an easy task, it’s something I shouldn’t have to do.
