Great lens with a few nice extras!
My Sirui 85mm F1.4 just got in! No good pictures with it yet, just a quick snap of my cat in not-so-great light.I had a bit of delay getting it- first, it took some time to clear customs, then the shipper said I wasn't home on the first delivery attempt (I was).Nice little piece of kit. It came with a padded case and two 67mm filters (UV and black mist). Fit and finish seem fine, I'm not sure it needs to say "full frame" on it, but the clickable/smooth aperture ring is nice, and it works well. Big AFL button works well, some others had said it had an odd feel to it but mine doesn't. I have mine mapped to change focus area (wide, center, etc.).My other 85mm is the Sony 85mm F1.8- this lens certainly has a few more features, and it seems to be plenty sharp. It was (is?) on sale on Amazon for $499, I had some points from buying Christmas presents so it only cost me about $415. I have to say I'm pleased- and customer service has been great, they reached out to me to confirm my camera and mount before finalizing the order, they reached out again when the original delivery failed to see if they could help.If you are looking for a portrait lens that won't break the bank, I'd say go with this one- you won't be disappointed!

Excellent portrait lens, almost perfect.
Ridiculous nice bokeh, great color rendering, good sharpness at f1.4, fast AF in most situations. I am using Canon EF 1.2L ii and Leica R 80mm 1.4 with techart ea7. This lens is better in every way comparing to Leica R 80/1.4 except one, distortion. However, for less than 1/4 price and 300 grams less weight, I decided to keep this. Here are 2 photos from this lens and Leica R80...

Amazing but just 1 thing…
Image quality - AAutofocus speed - B+Build quality - CI give build quality a C because of 2 things1. The aperture ring is too close to the grip and digs into your fingers. Use it enough and you’ll start blistering2. The aperture ring does not have a lock. So you may accidentally knock the lens into f16 by accidentThose are my 2 qualms but it really is an amazing lens and I would recommend this well over the GM version. I’ve used both and optically you can’t tell the difference. So save yourself $1200 and get the Sirui

Awesome lens at an affordable price!
It came with latest firmware too, and works like a charm on my Sony A7III. The Bokeh is so creamy, and the subject is sharp. I like the color and contrast renditions too. I never expected this lens would be great, but it's one of my choice picks so far, and I'm a sigma fan, so that says a lot about this review. Improvement wise, it needs an Aperture lock button, other than that, everything is spot on

Well-built portrait lens with gorgeous boken and great low-light performance
I've been a fan of Sirui's anamorphic cinema lenses for a while but I honestly didn't even know they made spherical lenses. My Nikkor 24-70mm ƒ2.8 is my workhorse lens and I probably shoot 90% of my photos with it, but I've been wanting a good portrait lens ever since I moved to mirrorless and sold off my F-mount lensesUnfortunately, I don't do enough portrait work these days to justify dropping $2600 on Nikon's lovely 85mm ƒ1.2 Z-mount lens, but when I got the e-mail announcing the 85mm Auroria (with Black Friday discount to boot), I impulse bought it without even thinking. It helped that I had almost exactly the right amount of points on my credit card to get it without spending cash, I'll admit. But, even if I had paid cash out of pocket, I would have zero regrets. It's a really freaking nice lens.As with all of Sirui's lenses, the build quality is great, especially considering the price point. It also somehow manages to feel both modern and vintage at the same time. The satisfying clicking you can turn on when using manual aperture brings me back a few decades, but the option to also spin it to A and just use it like any other Z-mount autofocus lens really seals the deal.I haven't had a chance to really use it in anger yet, but I took a few test shots around my studio and a couple outdoors after sunset. The low-light performance is really solid and the bokeh is really beautiful.I also shot a test grid out of curiosity. There is a bit of pincushion distortion, but it's pretty minimal and nothing that you would notice in most real-world shots.I'm very much looking forward to running this lens through its paces, but I have little doubt it's going to quickly become my #2 lens for still photography.

Great 85mm f1.4 lens!
Solidly built, yet compact and not heavy. It somehow achieves f1.4 with a package similar to some of the f1.8 lenses.Sharpness is good in the center even wide open. I like the color and rendering as well. To me the image feels like it has some retro lens vibe to it though I can't point my finger on exactly why.Autofocus is quick for medium to distant objects. For fast moving subject moving towards you close to the lens (within 10 ft roughly) the AF starts to struggle. I get about 60% success in those scenarios. But for the price, hey, I can't complain.Fringing/flare/distortion wise, besides the heavy pincushion distortion I haven't noticed anything. And the pincushion reminds me of sigma art 85mm which is 2x the price. For now I'm giving it a pass. All in all, I'm pretty happy. Hope the AF will improve with a future firmware update.

Almost perfect
Excellent value for money, the best option 1.4 for Nikon z at 85mm. Beautiful boke. The only feature I didn't like is the minimum focusing distance, but I can live without it.

Not Sharp
Great quality build, but images were not as sharp as other lenses I own.
