I buy this whole bean, light air roast to get the best chance of healing and staying well. I believe grinding the coffee just prior to use ensure freshness. I prepare and use as directed. I also learned to add Potassium Compound Salts (also found on Amazon) by Statmx to help relieve abdominal spasms that can be experienced from colon contractions during the increased pressure from this therapeutic coffee concentrate, thus making it difficult to take in a whole quart and hold for the recommended 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes is optimal, if you can attain it, in order for the entire blood in the body to pass through the liver five times. This technique removes toxins and waste products from metabolism and detoxifies the live and as a bonus relieves pain. This is one of my top 2 coffees for enema. It has rich texture and aroma but more importantly, it helps with the enema and does not leave you bloated or partially evacuated, which is important.For the price, you can't beat this coffee.

I got sick from doing these enemas because of electrolyte loss. Low blood pressure and hypotension followed daily use. Detoxing is good but should be done with knowledgeable care. If you can find away to keep hydrated and full of electrolytes that may help. Coconut water and salt have helped me recover but Im on potassium pills now and had to have a potassium IV because of dehydration. I also had been drinking yogi detox teas quite often. I was very focused on detox and not on replenishing nutrients. Otherwise the coffee enema was very refreshing and made my gut feel great. I really believe it helped empty out some candida gunk.

Out of all the requirements or suggestions given by online dr's and other people, this is the best version suggested to use esp for cleanses because of the way it is made (using air, not drum roasted) and light is supposed to have more of the important stuff in it than the others. It works for me, never felt better.
