Takes 50 minutes to make ice cream. Easy to use, easy to dismantle for cleaning and re-assembly.Could do with being colder as the ice cream melts really quickly, unless it goes into the freezer. Otherwise, does what it says on the tin.

Love that you can just pour in the ice cream concentrate or your homemade mix and 50 minutes later, you have perfect mr whippy ice cream. And when you’ve used it up, you can pour in more and start again.Cleaning is a bit time consuming, but easy enough. Pour in a litre of hot water, press the clean button and the 10 minute cycle begins.Repeat 4 or 5 times. Strip down, clean the parts, which are already clean really, due to the cycles, dry and reassemble. All quite easy.It is quite loud, but who really cares? Well designed and easy to use.

Great machine. You do not have to freeze the mix and it's ready in under 40 minutes. The Jersey ice cream mix is lovely. Quite large but ythatsvtge freezer part to cool etc. No pre cooling needed.

The concept of this machine to me was if it makes whipped ice cream it’ll do for me.It does, the first time I tried it out worked fine, second time I just couldn’t get the mix to get to a consistency that wouldn’t melt in seconds, I tried adding minutes to the churning time in the hope that it would harden up a bit, but it didn’t.My 3rd attempt went exactly like my second, you got ice cream it was tasty enough but melted to quickly for you to enjoy.I’m going to have to experiment with a few things like the mix I use as I’ve been using stuff you buy when you order you machine, maybe a mix with a little oil will do the trick, who knows but I’ll update this review as I get things to a high working standard.What I like about this particular machine is its size, perfect for making ice cream 8-10 servings per mix again depending on cone wafer oyster or tubs.It’s also very easy to clean and maintain this machine because of its size and it also doesn’t take up much room in the kitchen.I’ve had Taylor machine before but that was overkill for what I wanted, so when I saw the Cooks machine I was intrigued to see how it would work as other smaller soft serve machines online under this price are well….crap.I wish it had a setting for soft medium or hard ice cream to make it easier, also I think the spill tray could be fitted to the machine rather than just sit under it as the machine can move easily.I wouldn’t have a problem recommending this machine although I would source my ice cream mix elsewhere there’s a few out there, but like I said earlier if I find a mix that’s perfect for this machine I will update this review accordingly.I did contact Cooks to see if they have any advice to offer me, and they got back to me saying that someone will mail me in a few days as their in training days, my communications with the company have been good, I’ll update when I hear back from them.If you have one of these machines and have any advice please message me.Updated 25-01-25, I’ve tried a few different mixes and the one supplied with the machine is as good as any, saying that they’re will be one out there I would prefer. This machine is very very good it's quiet and it doesn't take long to have beautiful ice cream from it.
