Great idea, but doesn't work
Returning this. We tried it on four different guitars. The best we could do was get 2 of the cords to work. None of the others even came close. When you depress a cord button. the cord presser feet come down at an angle, not holding the cord down properly. We checked the width of the neck to make sure the neck was within recommended size. also, it moves a bit when you strum, causing more issues. It really is a wonderful idea, but needs perfecting.

More or less works, but maybe not worth the effort possible finish damage
I'm reluctantly giving this two stars instead of one because once I got it situated, it did generally produce the chords printed on the buttons. Perhaps there's someone who needs to play only the available chords (warning: it can't do some important ones) with a one-finger push. Or perhaps someone would purchase this to mess around with, and realize it's easier just to learn the chords than to manage the limitations of this device, and thereby start playing guitar. It was really hard to get it into just the right spot to make it (mostly) work, and while it didn't mark up a $100 beater I tried it on, I wouldn't take the risk with a more valuable guitar.

Apologies to my guitar
The media could not be loaded. My grandfather had one of these about 30 years ago, and I thought this would be cool to have on hand for someone to use if they weren't a guitar player but wanted to try and jam along. After receiving and putting this thing through its paces, I have nothing positive to say about this device. So let's go on with the things that need fixing.1. Labels on buttons need to be on the top, facing the player, not facing the audience.2. Clamps have no rubber for protection or grip, so expect your guitar's finish to get marred.3. Buttons are super hard to press in order to make a fretted sound.4. Most of the chords don't play the chord that's labeled on the button.5. The device moves on the neck easily and comes out of position.6. Chord buttons are all on different height levels, making it hard to find the buttons.Advice... Just learn how to play the guitar. This thing will not make it easier or save your fingers. It will only make you hate the guitar, therefore defeating the purpose. I don't like giving one star for products, and at the same time, some things just ask for it.
