I ordered this for my spare stand up paddle board and it works great! once my daughter is old enough to solo on her own board with me on my board, this will make it more comfortable for her. The disign is just like the foam seats I have for my 11.5' board so connecting it is easy and fast. Inflating this seat is an extra step, but it is much more comfortable than the foam seat on my main board. It provides great back support and is very durable. The design is great and matches my spare board nicely.

My wife loves to paddle board and she likes it when I go with her. I don't mind but I like to have a relaxing paddle and carry a cooler. I got an inflatable kayak for the convenience and price. So far everything is great, except for the seat... The inflatable seat that came with this kayak is absolutely miserable. It only comes about halfway up my back and is zero support. My old back can stand it for about an hour and a half before it's just not worth staying on the water. I'm not sure I like the sport enough to shell out a grand for a new kayak, just to get a better seat, so this Thurso Surf Universal Kayak Seat with Back Support seemed like a good option. I LOVE IT!! The difference is amazing. The support is good and the cushion is as soft or firm as you want depending on the air pressure. This is $80 well spent and if I decide to get a more expensive kayak? I can take the seat with me. I had to play with mounting points for the straps to get it just right, but that was really not a big deal. I'm very happy with this order.

Got this to sit atop my SUP so I can paddle around a bit more comfortably. It sure does help. The seat is thick and durable, easy to inflate. The back has bars to help keep it upright, and a pocket for storing stuff. It all rolls together for storage. Excited to use it more this summer.

This Thurso Surf Universal Inflatable Kayak Seat is a welcomed addition to the seat on my Old Town Predator PDL kayak. I don't think Thurso intended it for this application, but it works great. It was pretty easy to figure out a way to attach the straps so that the seat remains secure and doesn't shift around. It definitely improves the comfort over the stock Old Town seat.The inflatable seat base is top quality. It is made from the same material and construction as inflatable SUP's. It is fairly thick and raises you about 4 inches higher in the seat. The extra height is good for added visibility, but it comes at the cost of a little reduced stability. If you are already unstable in your kayak then this may not be a good addition for you.The seat back is equally well made. The straps look a little thin compared to everything else, but I've had straps this size on other kayak seats that have held up fine after years of hard use. The plastic buckles on the straps look a little flimsy, but again, I've had similar buckles on other kayak seats that have lasted through years of rough use. The only part that gives me durability concerns is the metal clips. They look like they won't hold up well to corrosion if you use them around saltwater. Fortunately, it would be easy to unthread a strap and swap out the clips for something more robust.The seat back attaches to the inflatable base with a long strip of hook-n-loop material. I've had no issues with the hook-n-loop coming apart during long days on the water.

I recently bought a new kayak. While the kayak is very nice, the seat leave a bit to be desired. So begins my search for a comfortable and versatile seat. While I was searching for a new seat, I came across this one so I ordered it. When it arrived I noticed first how compact it was when it is not inflated. Next I noticed how durable the seat fabric felt and the high quality metal fasteners. I also like that the seat back also has storage. I think this will be a great choice. Only time will tell.

I ordered the seat to be able to make my paddleboard also be used essentially as a kayak by fixing some D rings to the paddleboard surface. I’m able to attach the seat with all of its provided straps and it is very comfortable and easy to inflate/deflate and use there is plenty of adjustment in the straps and the entire thing is made rather well.

This seat is easy to attach to an SUP board, and easy to adjust with the straps. The inflatable cushion is nice to get the perfect firmness for your preference. It folds up small enough to fit inside our SUP carry pack which is very convenient.
