Nope! Just NOPE!
Well, if you stuck with my reviews long enough (and I am sure you didn't; how could you), here is the joke that Amazon promised me for reviewing seven products that I purchased: "Thanks, now for the joke: What do you say when you bump into a unicorn at a party? Ouch!" Seriously, I am sure that I have heard worse jokes, but I am at a loss as to when that may have been. My review for their joke? Terrible! They OWE me four stars! It might be fun for a first grader, but anyone else will be sadly disappointed by that sad excuse for a joke. Now, as to the review for this product. It is a joke, too. If they make them all as poorly as they made the one I got, no one at all will get any benefit from them, except possibly for a dog or cat that likes to chase lasers. This thing is so far off that I couldn't hit an eight by ten inch piece of paper from fifteen feet, and that is saying a lot! I have nearly fifty years of shooting experience and I teach marksmanship and this thing is just a plain dangerous waste of money when it comes to using it to sight in a .45 ACP. Granted, the thing couldn't be anu easier to use, but that is the only good thing about it. As far as value for the money, this one scores a solid one out of one thousand. It isn't even close to being close when it comes to using it to get sighted in, and buying one designed for the entertainment of a dog or cat is a lot cheaper. This particular one has zero redeeming qualities, and I seriously hope that the one they sent to me is NOT indicative of their entire product line.

I was pleasantly surprised!
So my kit actually had instructions, in English. Another was, it's brass. Not red at all. But I'm actually cool with that. It came with double the batteries you need. Good little beam strong red beam. All that being said, the instructions say not to allow the side forward. Umm, I'm not sure why but it wouldn't sight in unless it was forward.

Not compatible with Springfield XD series hand guns.
This is a very nice bore sight, however it will not work on Springfield XD series hand guns.

It got me on paper and was able to set my red dot after that.

Extra effort required for match grade chambers.
For its intended purpose I found it to be a very good boresighter. It told me what I was expecting; my sights are off a touch high and to the right, which is where I am constantly shooting when sighted in dead center.I lost my confidence when trying to adjust the sights on my Browning Challenger-I and could not get the sights dead on no matter how much I adjusted them. It would always shoot in the same location, which also happens to be to the right, making me think the issue is with the shooter, not the fire arm.The boresight restored my confidence and has convinced me that I should get a .22 boresight as well for my Browning. The .45 I used this boresight in is a Glock 21(G3) with an EFK match grade threaded barrel.I gave this product 3 stars because it did not fit into the match grade chamber out of the box. It does fit into the stock chamber with a surprising amount of wiggle room (I knew match grade was tighter tolerances, but I never took the time to see just how much so until this project) however, when I put it into my match grade barrel, it became stuck around 2/3 in and jammed my pistol so badly that I spend 20 min trying to pull the action back without damaging anything. A good deal of the time was taken because I was unsure where the hang-up was and did not want to damage my firearm. Had I known that the bore sight was fractionally larger than an actual bullet and was wedged within the chamber, I would have had it apart in seconds. So, to make it work, I put it in and took it out of the chamber numerous times to develop scrapes where it was too tight, then took my dremel and sanded those spots. After another hour I was finally able to seat my boresight in the match grade barrel and close the chamber completely.Unlike numerous other people, I did not experience variations on laser dot locations. Once I had it fitting into the chamber I cycled it several times and verified the sight picture and laser dot location each time. Although I had not read the numerous bad reviews (normally I read reviews, however, I had read the reviews on the .223 boresighter and did not think to read them for the .45) claiming the dot appears in a different location upon every chambering, I experience it in the same location ever time.Additionally, I had dropped it onto my kitchens granite floor from waist height at least 20 times because the dremel would get more traction than my fingers from time to time while I was sanding and whip it out of my fingers. The laser still worked after being constantly flung onto hard surfaces. Further, because I was concerned, I verified the laser was still true with a simple table top roll test which the laser passed.

Not meeting expectations
Not at all like it is in the picture, size is more like a 45 clot, lazer isn't centered in emitter more dose it fit in the chamber properly causing the lazer to point differently after every attempt at chamber ingredients. Despite that was able to 0 my lazer with it and my iorn sights.
