Stylish, good colour, good power and torque. Noticeably weaker than my DeW XR but that is to be expected at this price point. I think it would make a perfect gift for a family member needing new tools on a budget I'd say.

Easy to Use with Handy LED Light
The media could not be loaded. I recently ordered the ACDelco 20V Cordless Drill Driver, and overall, I'm really impressed with its performance. The drill is compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to handle, especially during longer projects. At just 1.07KG including the battery, I found it comfortable to use without any hand strain, even in tighter spaces. What really stood out for me is the built-in LED light - it automatically illuminates when the drill is in use, making it super easy to see exactly what you're working on, especially in dimly lit areas or when working indoors. This feature is a great addition. The 32Nm torque is strong enough to handle a variety of tasks, from lighter woodwork to more intense drilling into metal. Plus, the two-speed gearbox gives me the flexibility to adjust the speed according to the job - whether I need slow and controlled drilling or faster speeds for bigger tasks.I also appreciate the 21 torque settings, which add to the precision and control of the drill. It’s versatile and reliable, whether I'm working on DIY projects at home or tackling something more heavy-duty.The set also includes a 10-piece hex driver set, so I didn’t have to go hunting for additional bits, which was super convenient.

good starter kit
The media could not be loaded. This product comes in a cardboard box, and inside the box, you’ll find the drill itself, the battery, the battery charger and various drill bits and screw bits. As of review, this product is priced at £39.99 - I think this is excellent value and makes a good starter set. This cordless drill has a light to see where you are drilling in more precise detail. The drill is light and small but powerful enough for light jobs around the house. The included drill bits and screw bits are all appreciated, as this means you are ready to go without needing to buy extra bits.It would be good if there were a hammer option so it would be more effective on brick walls, but this is still a good set for the price.I recommend this product.

Only for lightweight use
This us a very lightweight drill driver that claims to be able to output about 30Nm of turning force. The trouble is that if you are approaching this kind of load, the drill shuts down (I guess to protect itself). The only way to reset seems to remove the battery and then clip it back in.It's probably OK for drilling small holes into wood and potentially plastic/soft metal. The provided drill bits are designed for plastic/metal, but can be used for wood at a push; they are not suitable for drilling into walls. Likewise, there is no hammer action, so drilling into walls may be an issue unless the wall is plasterboard or, maybe, breeze block. One thing it does have, which many drills at this price point lack is a battery charge indicator. I consider this to be essential, especially when you have only a single battery. There is no supplied case and it comes in a cardboard box.It you're wanting s very basic lightweight drill at this pricepoint, it's OK, but it may pay you to fork out a little but more for a more capable drill. In saying that, for non hammer drilling it actually outperforms a Bosch lightweight drill at almost twice the cost...

Surprisingly good drill/screwdriver
I have always had Bosch drills but the battery pack has failed on one om two drills and a new battery costs twice as much as this drill set. It comes with one battery which charges fairly quickly and is shockingly good at drilling wood or metal. The screwdriver function is always a good test as to how effective a battery drill will be.I tested this in the garden undoing some corroded fence panel screws where the wood and swollen and it undid them without any appreciable difference to the Bosch it replaced.Obviously the supplied bits are not as good as some decent ones but the drill itself is excellent for a DIY user. It comes in a carry case for easy shelf stacking and I just leave the charger out of the box for easy charging. The drill is very compact and lacks a hammer gearbox so it is no use for drilling masonry but for general household maintenance it is ideal and costs less than half a battery for the Bosch. I bought a bigger version of this that does have hammer three months ago and this uses the same battery (although higher capacity) and I built a shed extension and was able to drill into a concrete base using its bigger brother without any difficulty. Cheap drills have come a long way since the replacement of rubbish NiCad batteries with Li-ion ones like this drill uses and performance is on a different level - akin to a much more expensive product. If I had one genuine complaint about this drill it would be the battery charger and connection. Having to plug a lead into the battery pack rather than just drop it onto a charging holder is a pain in the neck but not enough to detract from the otherwise good performance of the drill. A bit more thought given to how to charge the battery would have made this product unbeatable rather than just really good value for money
