Affordable, Functional, Reliable
The media could not be loaded. I've been using XVive products for a few years now, specifically the U3C - which I connect to a clip on mic and put in my pocket. The U7 takes out the middle man and adds on a crisp, clear microphone attached a lightweight battery pack that sits on the bell.I recently used this for my sax on a four-show tour out west, and I was impressed. Main takeaways:- The signal never once dropped, even playing in areas with other wireless equipment.- I move a lot while playing, both walking, jogging, and occasionally jumping off subwoofers - the mic barely moved during these activities, and I rarely had to adjust it.- The battery life is exactly as advertised, if not more. Our first show was 4 hours, with an hour for sound check. I left the battery on almost the whole time and it didn't die.- The U7 is compatible with a second receiver, I used my U3C receiver to capture some direct sound in addition to using the U7 receiver to send sound to the mixer.- It came with a small carrying case that fits the pieces thoughtfully.Ultimately, this all-in-one wireless mic setup is everything it promises to be. Yes, there are certain upgrades that could be made if you have $1500 to spend, but this mic punches well above its weight. I would recommend this to any working musician who wants to venture around or off the stage while playing, or just needs an alternative to playing into a stage mic.

Great clip-on for sax!
This is a great clip-on mike, and so much more convenient than my old setup (separate receiver, AC power, cables, etc.). The Xvive is real simple: just clip it on the horn, plug the receiver into the sound board, and you're good to go. I've played a couple of gigs with this, and my sax is coming through loud and clear. Excellent product!

XVive U7 Wireless Microphone review by Saxophonist, Michael Ghegan
The media could not be loaded. Outstanding all around. I had 12 shows out of the USA over the New Year's holiday and I used the U7 for every show.It never dropped out and sounded clear as a bell the entire time. The battery life, switchable channels, range of use, ease of plug-n play and on/off switching was a pleasure. I highly recommend this unit !

Great value horn mic
Xvive has made a durable, no-frills wireless system that is extremely reliable and gets almost everything just right. I’ve used mine on a few gigs this month and every time I am setting it up, the other musicians are asking me about it. The U7 is filling a need for a lot of musicians and I think it will become a common sight at small to medium size gigs. Before the U7, it cost nearly twice as much to get a reliable wireless system from a well-known manufacturer. Xvive has become popular for their wireless monitoring systems, so they have already proven their worth on stage.

Jack issues
The jack broke after 3 months. I don’t know how to return it because Amazon has a one month return window.

Easy to use
I’ve never used a wireless mic before and it was easy to set up out of the box. Also has very long range and battery life. The sound quality is good too.

The most compact wireless mic system!!!!
The media could not be loaded. The sound quality is 5/5 stars. I really love how compact it is! It has battery of 5 hours and that’s plenty of time for any type of gig. Using a usb c charger is my favorite part. You can have 6 channels too?? I recommend this to anyone who needs a mic for a sax, trumpet, trombone, etc. It even comes with a case for your mic and transmitter!
