During a recent power outage, I tried the Takki 120W Peak Camping Power Station, which I primarily got for our camping adventures. Because it is lightweight and compact, packing it with other items is effortless. I was able to keep my laptop charged when our power went out thanks to the power station, which is perfect for charging smaller devices like phones and laptops.Although limited, the built-in lighting settings are useful. There are two settings for the top light: low and bright. It won't illuminate a whole room, but it will provide a small space, like a picnic table, a cozy glow. Another helpful feature is the flashlight, albeit it works best for short-range lighting.This power station offers a dependable backup power source with practical features. Although it's excellent for camping, small emergencies, and charging devices, don't expect the lights to take the place of a high-powered flashlight or a lantern.

I was looking for a small, portable power pack to use for keeping phones charged. I saw this one with 24000mAh, including a 110 volt inverter, and lights. I thought I'd give it a try.The inverter provides a modified sine wave AC output. While this isn't as clean as a full sine wave inverter, it is useful in many cases. The 80w limit is most likely going to be your limiting factor. This will be useful for small 110 volt devices, not for powering your house. ;⁠-⁠) I was successfully able to run an 110v LED work lamp, as well as a Misto cooling fan.There are four USB-A ports (2x12w standard, 2x18w for Qualcomm QC3.0), as well as USB-C port on the front. The USB-C port supports PDv2, but only provides 18w. If I need a faster charge, I could use a car charger with the included “cigarette lighter” outlet, as the DC output supports up to 10A.)The DC output (through a standard DC5521 barrel connector or the included “cigarette lighter” adapter) is not regulated, and you may find anywhere from 12v to 16.8v on that output. Most devices intended for car use support at least 12v to 15v, so the 16.8v may be too high for some devices.Note that when charging very low current USB devices (below 150ma - think watch or small LED dog collar), the power station will not realize that it's charging something and will turn off to conserve power. The manual states that you can turn on the AC inverter, which will keep the USB ports active as a side effect.The warm-white LED light panel on the front is pleasant for tent or patio lighting, and has a low/high brightness setting. There is also a bright flashlight on the side. I used that to check my late evening grilling and it provides plenty of light.The manual says it supports solar charging, but one section of the manual you need the open circuit voltage (Voc) less than 22v - while the specifications section says it supports 15v-25v input.Sadly, my small Coleman solar panel shows a Voc of 23v, so I can't use it, at least until I contact the vendor to get a definitive answer.I'd also need to find a small 3.5mm/1.35mm barrel connector that fits the charging port. (I'm sure Amazon will sell me a dozen!)The manual shows the device has 88.8 Watt Hours capacity, which means they may be allowed on planes. Check with the airline, as this is pretty high capacity for a battery pack.Actual rating: 4.5 (unregulated DC output up to 16.8v)

This power station is good quality it is portable and easy to charge. The battery last for a while and can charge multiple devices at once. This is a good value especially if you go camping a lot or have a power outage this will come in handy.

VERDICTDo not buyWHYThis power supply construction is okay. It has a built in flash light and lamp, which are nice extras. It includes a 120V AC wall charger but uses a strange DC barrel connector - it would be some extra work to find the right connector for recharging by a solar panel. The USB and 12V DC ports are fine for your cellphone, tablets, USB LED bulbs, USB fans etc. It has includes an adapter to car cigarette lighter outlet for car devices.PROBLEM The issue I have with this thing is the AC is 120V at 80W continuous or 120W peak. This is very low power - fine; but cannot even be used with motors according to the instructions because it outputs modified sine wave - very inferior to pure sine wave. Don't even bother with this garbage.

It works great for my little eloctronics like laptop phone etc. Really useful and it is suitable with solar panels for camping.

This would definitely be a useful accessory for camping or during a power outage at home. It's a nice backup battery to charge your devices. The lighting feature is a nice added touch and it also has a flashlight. The unit itself is lightweight and compact for easy travel.
