Awesome toy the kids love it
I got this toy as a birthday present for one of my nephews birthday. He just turned six and loves building Legos, so I had a good idea, that he would love this as well. When he unpackaged it and my mom saw what it was, she squealed with delight. She said that, her great, great uncle built a marble machine out of wood, back when she was just a young child and she absolutely loved playing with it. For reference, she’s 65 years old now and can’t wait to play with this toy herself when the kids aren’t using it.After examining the pieces as they were taken out of the box, included with the pieces, was a wonderful, magazine size instruction book with lots of pictures of designs. Assembly was not too difficult, and there are multiple options and designs that a child can build, just by using their mind and imagination. It requires some critical thinking and is a wonderful STEM toy. My nephew and his friends at the party, spent more time playing with this toy, than anything else he got. They actually laid their electronic devices down, to play together with designing and building different tracks. The quality of the pieces is quite high. There are no sharp edges, and the pieces are a good quality plastic. While playing together, they didn’t need the help of any adults. If my nephew needs a little assistance when his friends aren’t around, he’ll most likely invite his older sister, who’s 6, to join in with the designs and different building options they can make. With this toy, they actually play together without fighting. It’s a MIRACLE!!Another fun feature is, as the marbles are dropping, they run into pillars and other structural pieces, that play different musical notes. This keeps them ingaged, trying to repeat or make new designs that give different sounds. It has improved their eye-hand coordination, which continues to improve, with each passing day they play with it.Now the really fun feature, as the marbles strike the musical notes, it sounds like a pinball machine, which I’ve always loved playing. As they drop the marbles faster and faster, it sounds so much like a pinbal machine, I’m absolutely delighted. Now every time I go over for a visit, they insist upon my arrival, that I play with them using this toy first. I’m thrilled to play with them, especially with something other than electronic devices! If they could, they’d have me stay for hours. There’s so many more good things I could say, but I think I’ve made my point. This toy is a winner. I would DEFINITELY recommend this toy. 5 stars.

So Fun and Innovative
I reviewed a two-tower version of this Musical Marble run last year. On that one, I felt a few things needed to be improved upon, including the number of mid-track sections that came with the set so extra notes could be played. This set, however, with three towers and lots of mid-track sections, plus extra notes, helps to resolve most of the criticisms I had with the previous set. The one thing I think could still be improved is the way the track sections connect to the towers. The sections merely rest on the ledge of the tower pieces, and are easily knocked off. This is frustrating for kids. I would prefer that they have a way to lock on, like Legos, or something, so they don't get knocked off so easily. I didn't omit a star from my review for this because the manufacturer did improve on the set, overall, by offering more notes and ways to play them throughout the track. That is awesome! Now there are so many more song options available to play, and kids can make up their own. I love that about this set, so I'm giving it five stars. So much fun!

I’d pick a different one
This is absolutely not an easy marble run. My five year year-old and I tried to put it together and struggled so much and got frustrated and said let’s just return it. It’s not working the way they make it look.

Fun toy!
This is an interesting toy; warning! it does have small parts. Aside from that, it's really easy to assemble and the kids love it. They had a blast assembling and de-assembling. I love the sounds it makes too. It's too funny!

Not the best quality
Plastic is very flimsy, not very sturdy, and the longer run pieces always fall off the edges since there’s no way to hold them in place. Put it together once and wasn’t really impressed. Definitely made for older kids - my 7 year old wasn’t able to put it together.

Great you!
This is a great toy for any marble run enthusiast, or any kid that likes music! The instructions are clear enough to make assembly easy, and I like the details on what songs can be played. It’s also fun to arrange in your own pattern of choice! The bases are wide and sturdy (super important in marble runs!), and the pieces fit together nicely. The set does contain marbles obviously, so I would use caution and not buy this for a toddler to avoid the choking risk.My son has is a musician and he said that the notes are accurate, so I’m impressed with the sound quality! I’m considering getting another set because having more notes to play with would be great!Definitely worth the buy!
