Really nice thin protective water socks
They are well made of very nice, strong (so far) material. Nicely thin to fit with fins but still enough protection and comfort to walk on coral. Very happy with this purchase.

Great water socks!!
This is the 2nd pair I have purchased.. These work great for snorkeling/diving.. and also for wearing under my astral water shoes.. very comfortable and quick drying, and hold up very well!

Saves you from blisters when using rental fins
On my previous snorkeling trip before I got these socks, I got really bad blisters from using the rental fins. Although I pack my own snorkel and mask, I don't pack my own fins since they take up too much space. So I will always be using rental fins that don't always fit the best. That being said, on my latest trip, I bought these socks and I snorkeled for many days, with no blisters whatsoever! What a life saver. :)

It suited the purpose
I use the socks and Lakes superior to do some agate hunting for a couple of days. I didn’t care for the seams and the socks, but I forgot about them after a little while. Next time I would look for something a little different and probably a little thicker, but less than three mil. The socks are not designed for warm, just a barrier against the not so smooth interior of a waters shoe

Excellent
Excellent for keeping the sand out from between your toes at the beach! Also, excellent for snorkeling.

Lost my old dive socks in awindstorm – these were a good replacement set

Wear out too fast
I swim twice a week and holes appeared after 3 months. I gave up on special socks and use regular black socks. They last longer.

Seam causes sores
For once a day diving, probably OK. But I do liveaboard diving, where 4-5 dives a day is typical (more than 20 dives a week). With that many dives, any rubbing will eventually cause raw sores and/or blisters. The seam down the center will rub on the top of the foot or on the toes.If the seam was flatlock, that would probably be much better. As it is, I learned to turn the sock inside-out so the overlock lap seam isn't directly on the skin. But that was after I already had open sores on my toes.I think some cheap seamless nylon ankle socks would work better. They might not last that long, but at least no seam sores.
