Saved money on replacing the whole corner steady

Good quality replacement
A quality replacement for the broken 'nut'And quite simple to fit. I first screwed the retaining screws into the body of the nut to .ake it easier to screw them in when installing the nut

It looks sturdier than the original
I've not fitted it yet but it looks well made and sturdy. Note that the two small holes either side come without threads as the screws are self tapping. They make their own threads as you screw them in.

No screws or washers
The item arrived minus the 2 screws and 2 washers. After waiting over a week 2 screws and 2 washers arrived by post. Sadly the washers slip straight through the holes in the corner steady and the screws just slide into the holes they are meant for this providing no security whatsoever.This is my 3rd review, the previous 2 although being honest weren’t published. Maybe 3rd time lucky.

Quality
This was advertised as an alko product but there was no markings on it and the quality was questionable as the thread had to be de burred to allow it to work. It has been fitted and is working at the moment.
