A Wetsuit for an Old Woman!
I am 5’3”, 165 pounds, and shaped like a fireplug, 44”x40”x38”. Wide shoulders, muscular legs, and a belly. And I’m spending the summer months at the lake with my sister and her grandkids. In Minnesota, where even on hot days, the lake water is colder than my native California self can be comfortable with. So, just for grins, not expecting anything to work for my height and shape, I got the largest ladies wetsuit O’Neill makes, size 16.It is plenty long in the torso, legs, and arms. It is a bit loose in the thighs, but that made getting it on dry easy. And getting the ribbon on the zipper over my shoulder, I pulled the zipper up while I was bent over at the waist, getting the old girls settled into the mild curves of the top part, and it was on and zipped!I could easily move, no restrictions anywhere, and I could breathe just fine. I was in, did not feel squeezed or stuffed, and am greatly delighted to have found a good suit to keep me warm. And it was not a struggle to get out of. It was not baggy anywhere, fit quite snuggly, and other than accommodating my old body, it was more attractive than I imagined it would be.I may have to get a board. LOL!No photos were taken because an old woman in a wetsuit sort of looks like SpongeBob in a wetsuit. <smile>Your mileage may vary.

Scuba approved!
This reactor 2/3mm wetsuit worked great for scuba. I did some research and decided on this as the fit was more customized to a slim woman fit compared fir generic neoprene suits. I found that this suit helped me control my buoyancy better than rental neoprene suits that instantly balloon up with Water on me when I dive. This worked well for me in ~70s degree water, but I tend to run cold. I was hesitant about the “rubberized” chest area but it really just made the suit fit me better and didn’t have an effect on my scuba weighting. The back zipper is nice and long and has a very long pull. The neck has a bit of a turtle neck that fits securely and can be tightened or loosened from the back velcro. I plan on getting involved in summer water sports, and will definitely be using this for non- scuba water activities, when I need some extra skin protection. For the money this is a great wetsuit !If this was helpful please hit helpful!

Size is about 2 to 3 sizes too small so go by the measurments
I got this for a diving class.Be aware that the wet suits DO NOT MATCH STREET CLOTHES SIZES AT ALL!!!!!!!!I am 5'5", 130lb, with medium size bust.I usually wear size SM or MD in shirts and size 4 in pants. Wet suits sizes are not the same as street clothes. They are about 2 to 3 sizes too small. So if you are a 4, wet suit size 4 is NOT GONNA FIT YOU! It is made for a skinny teenager who wears size 0.Measure your body.Go by the size guide.I ended up buying this wet suit in size 10!I assure you if I'd bought a dress in size 10 I'd drown in it, no pun intended. The wet suit fit me well when dry. And when I was in the water too. The sleeves were a bit long for me, but they didn't have 10S size, that might have had shorter sleeves. This wet suit is 3mm/2mm.3mm in the body and legs, and 2mm in the colored part on shoulders, sides and arms.I rented a 3mm/2mm wetsuit from a diving shop prior to buying this one. The rented wetsuit felt a bit thiker. And it was actually a bit warmer too. This wetsuit feels a bit thin, and it is cooler. I was cool in the pool. So if you get cold easily I'd recommend getting a wetsuit that is 4mm/3mm instead.I felt ok temperature wise during my diving class in this wetsuit. Though I wish I was warmer. The pool temperature was 78 degrees and after 2 or so hours in the pool I was getting cold. The buoyancy of this suit is good. I swam in this suit without a problem at all. It made me float.

Great purchase! Versatile.
Great wetsuit - comfortable and durable. Wore for a 10-day liveaboard in tropical warm water and it performed great. I now wear the wetsuit to swim and snorkel for fun in cooler water. On sizing - I read a number of reviews suggesting sizing up on the size scale provided and found this to be wrong for me. I actually should have sized down. I’m 5’6” 130 lbs and got an 8 but had a lot of room in the chest, stomach area, and legs. Definitely will get a 6 next time.

Great suit for the price
Great suit for the price. Fits well, keeps me pretty warm. I’m using the suit for river surfing in Montana, and it’s not quite thick enough or warm enough for that. But would be perfect for summer surfing on the west coast or winter surfing in warmer climate. The pink is bright and pretty!

For the price its great
I'm not a surfer but I'm a nanny to a little 7yo grom. This kid loves the water and my older ass doesn't love the cold. So this was perfect for me to stay warm and float and swim around him. Again I wasn't surfing in it so I can't say how it acts to moving around but for for staying warm its great. Its comfortable and as far as I can remember (I haven't put on a wetsuit in 20 yrs) it was just as “easy” to put on as any other suit.

Amazing wetsuit
SO stoked on this wetsuit. Oneills are by far hands down the best. I have tried almost every wetsuit brand under the sun.. and oneills are the best quality. I have curves and a large bust and this fits me perfect. I feel like other brands do not accommodate my more curvy figure. Keeps me nice and warm too.

Tearing and threads unraveling. Hole
I ordered 2 suits, 1 for me and 1 for my gf. For her- the suit is a great fit and feels amazing but after day 1 it’s tearing apart creating thin layers. The seem along her arms and knees are unraveling. She keeps the back velcrod behind her neck when shes not wearing the suit. Even if she didn’t Velcro it together I feel that a couple hours of wearing the suit and hanging it to dry this should not happen. My suit has been comfortable and amazing with no problems. But her suit is falling apart.
