Retro headphones... LOVE IT.
I bI boughI bought these headphones because I purchased a cassette player and wanted affordable retro headphones that were of good quality. This product was the perfect answer. They are very comfortable and sound great. I would not recommend them if you are looking for the best sound quality, as the bass is not the strongest. However, apart from that, I would highly recommend them. The headphones are lightweight and fit well on my head. The design is sleek and stylish, giving them a cool retro look. Additionally, they come with a long cord, which is convenient when I want to move around while listening to my music. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend these headphones to anyone seeking an affordable and decent quality option.

brilliant value for money
I wanted a cheap set of old fashioned, portable, small on-ear headphones, like the ones I used to have in the 1990s, just for commuting, or travelling light. These headphones seemed to fit the criteria and I set my expectations appropriately given the price. The headphones have exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is very good, with a decent response from the bottom to the top end, not tinny, not muddy at all. One of the things I used to experience with this type of headphone was that they couldn't be driven loud enough. I'm running these off a standard iPhone 8 at the moment and they go more than loud enough. They're fairly but not completely closed back and as a result will leak sound to an extent especially compared to these horrible ear buds that people are shoving in their ear canals these days :), but this is to be expected with this type of headphone. At this price I'm not going to be too upset if they get broken or lost. They seem to be entirely plastic, including the adjustment band which makes adjustment a bit stiff and time will tell how long they hold up without snapping etc through being knocked about in transit. Again, this is nothing unexpected at this price. There's not a lot else to say about them. Really pleased with them. Absolute bargain.

great for the price
These are good value. They are not HiFi by any means but they are cheap and have a reasonable sound. Bought them for my wife for airplane use and who always complain the over the ear headphones are uncomfortable on a longish flight. These are lightweight and comfortable. Perfect for the job.

Good Sound quallity. Cheap plastic head band.
These headphones have good sound quality. Better than I actually expected.Although the headband is easily broken. Cheap plastic.A bit tight on the ears too.My one broke on one side. I managed to house them in a different headband housing. Thankfully. They are OK, just be careful with handling them.

Panasonic Rp-Ht21 Headphones
Traditional robust yet compact headphones, bought primarily for weekends away for use with portable radios. Pleasingly clear, reasonable depth sound, esp. for size. Fairly comfortable adjustable fit and helpfully marked L and R. The cable is quite long, thicker with a rubbery flexible feel and less tendency to tangle than the thin cable on my in-ear phones. Packs neatly into a an old George PPE poly 'press to seal' underwear bag stuffed into travel zipper bag and when pulled out the cable is barely tangled! :) Very good product and value.

Two Pairs Failed Within A Month - Same Defect
I bought two of these Panasonic headphones in the same order to listen to my iPod Touch. The first pair lasted me 3 weeks, the second pair lasted even less, just 10 days. Both sent back together, my first ever return to Amazon in 14 years. Both sets of headphones developed the same exact fault with the sound stopping coming out the right sided headphone earpad and only giving sound from the left hand one. There was no evidence of any actual physical breakage however and both had been used only at home in normal conditions of use. A major disappointment indeed, because when I first listened to the sound I was very happy with what was produced for the price and thought I was sorted for a long time to come and with a spare set as well.I've been listening with these kind of lightweight, on ear headphones, often in bed, since 1984 and most pairs over the years tend to last about 2 years or so, and I've bought other Panasonics or Sennheiser before, so I knew what to expect out of this level of product.Quite how the very same defect hit both pairs in short succession is baffling. I phoned Panasonic to tell them before making the return to Amazon and they took details. I hope these are actually the genuine item by that manufacturer. To write off two sets within about a month was extraordinary and nothing I've ever bought in nearly 40 years comes close to such failure.
