The mattress is AMAZING! I was sleeping on a temperpudic and waking up with horrible back pain every single night!!! I set up the mattress very easily and by myself! I suggest putting it on top of your bed to let it do its thing but mine pretty much took its shape right away. It still needed to fill out a bit on the corners so I did let it sit for 24 hours but it filled out perfectly! Also the cooling on the premium is amazing! Very cooling and cozy all at the same time! I ordered a bed cover for the mattress because I obviously don’t want to stain it but….it is preventing me from feeling the coziness of the nectar cooling so I may just take it off and return it and just be extra careful. Also for reference, I ordered the king size in premium. In the pictures you can see the top corners did not completely fill when first opened, i would say it took about 48 hours for those to completely fill out but it did end up filling out and it’s perfect on all corners now. I know this review is all over the place but in case this helps, I do have two herniated discs in my lower back and this mattress has helped me immensely. I was waking up in horrible pain and it’s been almost 3 weeks now sleeping on this mattress and I am pain free in the morning and most of the day and not waking up so stiff all over my body either! I also added the Amazon pick up service and that was great as well. They took the old mattress at the time of delivering this one, they were really fast and it is much cheaper than paying another company to come do it for you and also very convenient! Oh and one last thing, I did not notice any smell when I opened the mattress at all!

This is such a nice mattress. I can’t believe I only paid $600 for it. It feels like a premium mattress. It’s not too hard or too soft, it’s just right. It was something I was worried about when I purchased this. I really hate most memory foam mattresses in the market, because over time, they tend to sag.I waited for a while before I decided to write my review, because I wanted to see if it would sag. But it’s delightfully comfortable and still as great as when I first tried it. I’m very impressed by it. I used to sleep on a beautyrest BLCK before this, and that’s a great mattress, but it’s really expensive. When I moved, I needed something good, but within my budget.This bed in a box delivered! I’m so glad, I feel like I have definitely gotten a good return on my investment with this mattress.It was very easy to set up. All you have to do is open the box, roll it out into an open space, and tear the plastic wrapping off. The mattress starts inflating as soon as you do. I put it on the floor so it would inflate at a completely level surface. I went on a business trip, and I came back, it was ready to use. I mounted it on my bed. It looks great.I’m fairly average in weight and height. I sleep on this alone, and it’s really great. I think another average sized person would sleep well on here with me. I don’t feel hot, but then again, I bought this mattress at the start of a very cold, bitter winter. I did put a mattress protector on it, which could also be why I don’t feel hot.The warranty was why I bought this mattress and not any other bed in a box. I felt at ease spending the money. I read other reviews of people remarking about how expensive this mattress is. I don’t get it. It’s a great value. You sleep most of your life, it’s the place you spend the most time in, get something good.

I always wanted a nectar or Dreamcloud as they are owned by the same company and I got a nectar and I love it however, I did want to hybrid because I do like the extra support of the coils but I had to opt for just standard memory foam and let me tell you it blew my Tempur-pedic out of the water. Not only is it just a supportive and maybe a little more so granted my old one was 20 years old from Tempur-pedic but it regulates temperature better because of the cooling gel layer and it coats half as much as a Tempur-pedic. I will get another one again when I move. I need another queen size maybe opting for the hybrid this time.

I wish I can give 5 stars but I can't. Delivery was great and everything except the box was all damaged. Hope the box wasn't damaged but it got damaged pretty bad. That's why i give it 4 stars. Other than that Bed is really great pretty firm and comfortable. I really loved it. Highly recommend this Bed.

Summary- buy this mattress for a restful sleep night after nightPros---1. The mattress is thick and has the support you deserve.2. I read the difference between 1st gen and 2nd gen of Nectar mattress and chose 2nd gen even thought it has a thinner memory foam because of cooling gel tech. I think cooling gel tech works because I have not felt hot or sweaty any day. I will edit this review if I experience differently in peak summer.3. I bought it with an Ikea bed and I was skeptically of it fitting because Ikea mattresses are 1/2 to 1 inch shorter length wise. Anyway it did fit so I am happy I took a $600 gamble!Cons--1. It is super heavy of course so better to have two people to handle it during installation.2. It takes 2-3 days to fully take shape. You can start using after 24 hours, but best to plan it such that there is a 72 hour window.3. The cover is partially white so needs a mattress portector if you don't want it to start looking dirty too soon.

I have only had the mattress for a couple of months but I love it! I know that memory foam sleeps hot because we have a tempurpedic mattress. However I have a bamboo mattress topper and bamboo sheets and I keep my room cool. I wish I got this sooner. Honestly as of now it’s the same comfort level of the mattress we have that’s double the price.
