If you love the Blue album then this is for you!
The boxset was on sale for $160 which made it much more enjoyable. Tons of bonus content on vinyl and the little items along with the presentation are awesome.

=w= is my all time favorite band! =w=
Such a cool box set was if pricey, yes. But for a mega fan it was totally worth it. They were sold out everywhere and then found it on Amazon! It was even through the same seller I couldn’t believe it! I really wanted the sweater box set but this one still has the thread that you can pull as I walk away. =w=Side note did you know rivers use to have long hair!

Go take your car to work; I'll take my board
You would only buy this set if you're a Weezer fan; there is no reason you would buy this edition as a new Weezer fan. And for $100, I feel like it could have provided a bit more.I'll start by saying: the set is fun. As this is the CD version, you get three discs of a newly remastered version of the album and some songs, new recording sessions like from the BBC, early live performances, and garage sessions, and the Kitchen Tape Demo in its entirety, released officially for the first time. If you're a big Weezer fan, you would have gotten the Kitchen Tape Demo already online. But at least it's officially released here. I would say the big gem about this would be the Third and Garage Practices, where some songs have a Nirvana-esque sound to them, which really brought some songs a totally different mood. The early live recordings are nice, but mainly historical conservation it seems. And that's the big thing about this set for me: the history of Weezer. The linear notes, all on the weezine by Karl Koch, is beautifully written and gives you that Weezer insight and history that is meticulously recorded unlike any other American band. You get that history by words, paired by the music, and with fun knickknacks like some bonus photos, stickers, a poster for your wall of your favorite rock group, a 12-sided die, and a pin. If you're a super fan, you would love and appreciate this album, paired with your 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition version of the album, of course. If you're just getting into the music of Weezer, you don't need this whole set, especially for the $100 price range. Overall, this is a fun trip down memory lane, and a nice way to preserve Weezer history.
