Really sharp and great bread knife
Cuts through soft bread without any issue and you don’t need to push so hard you end up with a squashed loaf!Equally great at cutting through crisp loaves with ease. Also excellent with thumbs if you fail to pay attention when washing said knife!

The sharpest most ergonomic breadknife you will ever have
Zwilling is my go to knife choice always. It’s more expensive but always well worth the money if you are looking for a lifetime piece of equipment. I had a Sabatier breadknife which finally bit the dust when I dropped it once too often on the floor and there was no handle left. I can’t imagine that happening to this one. It is sturdy and very ergonomic and yes very very sharp, so much so that I cut myself when I first washed it. Despite that would highly recommend!

Extremely sharp but has a mind of its own
This is a very high quality knife which tackles pretty much anything with ease - up to and including the bread board. Unlike similar Opinel and Victorinox knives, it comes with a sharp point that cut grooves and splinters out of the board until I had to blunt it with a metal file. Care and a firm hand must also be taken because it likes to wander off to the left during cutting.I have used the similarly priced rosewood Victorinox knife too and would slightly recommend that instead, although both are very good.
