Was buying these for a while and decided to try a cheaper brand to save a few bucks; didn't realize how much the quality matters. Cheap brand immediate whistled and bowed due to lack of air flow and also made my bill go up with the extra system strain. Won't switch back again. These filter great (we have 2 high-shed dogs and several cats) and they have no trouble keeping up. They fit well and go in easily, and most importantly are completely *silent*

Well packaged, timely shipping, best price I could find. This is the highest internet recommended filter I could find. I have used this filter in Florida for the past 1 1/2 years and it works great; the amount of dust/pollen that one filter removes over a 90 day period is almost unbelievable, but that was part of the Filtrete description. Most other places were selling this for 33 to 66% more.

These filters are top quality and arrived quickly. I live in the TX panhandle where blowing dust is part of life. And being in the 4th year of drought hasn't helped. So a good quality filter like these helps a lot to keep the amount of dust and pet dander minimized. The price was good with the free shipping and I will buy again when needing more.

It has already been stated multiple times that these don't state any worthwhile measurement of dust/pollution/etc reduction. So I kind of just purchased them based on visual comparisons to their other filters. These are very clearly one of their "higher-up" filters, considering the build quality and thickness of the materials. I just wish they would give a better quantification of this beyond a picture of a pet, a picture of smoke, and a picture of a bacteria.From a usage standpoint they have been very good. They have captured a lot of crap during Utah's winters of terrible air quality. They are also not so powerful as to bog down my furnace and reduce air pressure in a way that will damage the system.I've also compared prices and these are a pretty good deal for the 6-pack, especially since I got them as the gold box deal of the day. Even when not gotten at the deal of the day price, similar quality filters of the same brand average about three bucks more *each* from Walmart, which is the next cheapest source I've found to buy them.
