I thought I left a new review for this product and lowered the star ratings, but it looks like it didn't go through. So UPDATE: I canceled the return of this product, because problem was it was leaking all over the carpet. Big time. After checking the pump, the lines, the padding we found no problem as far as functionability. The problem lied with the bag itself. Cheap bag sprung a leak. With such a good product it's a shame they couldn't use something better to put the ice water in. So I canceled the return and just put the bag inside a cooler we already have that's lined with plastic... Problem solved! END OF UPDATE: This thing is the best to have after knee replacement surgery! Away with the hard, heavy ice packs. The wrap is thin and goes around the knee easily and is secured with three Velcro straps. Three levels of flow easily adjusted to your needs/levels of pain. So quiet I don't even hear it running. Automatic shut off after 30 minutes is great in case you fall asleep. Highly recommended

Great unit for the price. I switched to this from the machine provided by insurance.After switching to a small homedepot bucket it works great.Just some notes on it.Get yourself one of those small home depot buckets to put the pump and ice water in. The provided 'container' is a soft skinned thing that gets wobbly.Definitely a great value for money. Easy to use. The timer is a great thing so you don't lose track of time and over ice.

Bought this machine for my wife, after total knee replacement. She used it for 3 weeks and is up and walking around. It has kept the swelling to a minimum. Worked perfectly. She also had a CPM (Continuous Passive Motion) machine that kept her leg flexing all knight and several times during the day. Often while she slept. I attached a small bull clip to the fabric of the ice machine to the foot pad. That kept it from moving around and kept the ice where she needed it. No leaks at all. I kept the water lever to about 8" and rotated 4 frozen bottles of water in the water. The water stayed ice cold and worked great. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone needing ice. It shuts off after 30 minutes so you have to turn it back on. I set a 1 hour alarm on my phone. 30 minutes ice on, 30 minutes ice off. As needed. I kept my unit in a cookie sheet in chase of leaks but there were none. It also allowed me to slide the unit across the rug easily.

While this is a decent machine there is no way to contact the company to purchase additional wraps or replacement parts. No customer service after the sale.

I bought this for my boyfriend who had knee replacement surgery and I’m so glad I bought it. Putting ice on your knee isn’t the same as having a continuous cold wrap around your entire knee. It’s easy to use and stays cold for 12 hours. If you freeze water bottles. Don’t bother putting ice in it. It’s messy and melts to fast. Believe me you don’t want to empty and refill this cooler. This is what worked for us. Know where you want it and then fill it with water. Fill it in the bathtub, it gets heavy, and zip it shut to transport it to where your person needs it. Get some bottled water at Walmart and freeze 10 bottles. We put 5 in the water cooler and it kept the water cold for 12 hours. We swapped the frozen bottles in the am and pm to keep the water cold. I’m so glad I bought this machine. It had a massive impact on my boyfriend’s pain, swelling and recovery. He used it for 3 weeks multiple times a day. Seriously, just buy it. It’s worth every penny and your person will thank you!

This machine is perfect to help me recovery from Total Knee Replacement. The flow of cold water and added pressure help relieve swelling throughout the day. Easy to use, but like any canvas cooler you should be aware that it could rip and leak. I put mine in a five gallon bucket and don’t have to worry about it. My wife fills it in the morning and it is ready for use until I go to bed. Well worth the investment!!

If you need something to last this isn't the product to choose. Had my knee replaced in December 2024 so I purchased this. By end of January 2025 roughly 7 weeks the bag portion is leaking. It sits on my floor, isn't moved so not reason to be leaking but low and behold there is a hole somewhere that I can't find. I started noticing my carpet being soaked daily. So I set it in a bowl and within 6 hrs there was an inch of water in the bottom. It's not from condensation as the bottom is the only wet spot. So if you need something that has to be used 6 to 7 times a day for longer than about a month choose something else.
