Sun Glare No Longer a Problem
Fixed my problem. I changed the old transmitter (green light) sensor that wasn’t allowing the door to close due to sun and now it works despite the sun glare. Very easy. Hard to tell which one has the green light but I made loose wire connections to figure it out. I wasn’t worried because it’s very low voltage. I never worked with the provided wire connections before. I tried but missed a couple of times which made them useless but used wire nuts that worked fine. Someone who has worked with the wire connections before will find they have a more professional look.

Easy installation - a really quick fix to an old door problem
The product "2024 Upgrade 41A5034 Safety Sensor Kit" is a replacement set of sensors for your garage door. These are the sensors that keep the door from coming down onto a child, pet, or even your foot. I'm fairly certain that they are a government-required part of all modern garage door openers. Well, my Craftsman garage door openers are 30 years old and the sensors were getting a bit finicky, which means that I had to wiggle the wires periodically when they were incorrectly preventing the garage doors from coming down. The replacement task is a simple one; the manufacturer even provides crimp connectors to attach the new sensors to the old wires. (These are shown in the photos as orange tipped do-dads, but I did not see any mention of their functionality.) In my case, my old sensors have their LEDs on the opposite side of the carriage bolts compared to these sensors. For me, that means that the LEDs now face the wall. I decided that this is of no real consequence. I can only assume that the new sensors expect the user to have different brackets than I have. Otherwise, these work great, and I look forward to them outliving me in this house.

Perfect Replacement for the Liftmaster Sensors
When the LEDs went out on both the send and receive Liftmaster sensors, the error code said I had a bad wire. That made no sense, so I ordered these to replace the defective ones. Magic. They are a perfect replacement. They work exactly like the OEM sensors. Problem solved. Great price, and a solid product.

Total crap!
Bought 2 of these after flooding from Helene and Milton. Neither set worked. Had to hire a garage door company to come out and replace my sensors. He said he hasn’t seen any of these from Amazon function!

Good product
Arrived in one day and fixed the garage door issue. Easy to install although the clamps don’t hold the wires properly.
