Good flavor
Pretty good flavor. Was easy to cook and the instructions were accurate for boiling water. It was actually very filling too. As a lunch, I was barely able to finish it... which was great!

Contains wheat
These are marketed as rice noodles and contain wheat. I'm allergic to wheat can't eat them and can't return them. If you have any wheat or gluten intolerance do not order.

Good For An Office Lunch Or A Lazy Dinner At Home
These meals in a cup are always good for an easy meal to prepare for lunch at work, or as a small meal at home when feeling lazy. It's also an easy on the stomach meal when you aren't feeling all that well. It's an okay dish, but really there's nothing all that special about this. Tastes good enough, but I can't rave about this. Wouldn't even say that this is filling at all. Though it's good when you only want something very light on your stomach.Even though I'm fine with this and would easily eat it again given a chance, I would never buy this based on the price that I saw this being sold for. Can't remember exactly what it was but I know that it was somewhere between $12-$15. Not in the least bit worth that high price! I could get a whole entree from my local Asian restaurant that feeds two people for that price and it would fill me up more than this. Something's got to give if they want to sell these on the American market. I do like this, but not at this price.

Mr.HOO Kimchi Flavor Rice Noodle Bowl 3.25 oz
A product of Korea this 3.25 ounce kimchi flavor rice noodle ramen bowl which has a stronger seafood flavor than kimchi along with a mild to medium level of heat which leaves a slight burning in the mouth. The rice noodles are soft and delicate so no issue there but for one noodle bowl it seems somewhat pricey. It is easy to prepare in the bowl by just adding boiling water to the noodles and soup base and waiting 4 minutes. As noted above this is not a vegan dish because the soup base contains crustaceans and fish. Each bowl has 320 calories, 1.5 grams fat, 70 grams carbohydrates, 4 grams sugar and 7 grams protein. Sodium is high as is usually the case and here it is 64 percent of daily value. If possessing sensitivities or allergies the product contains wheat, soybean, sesame, seafood crustaceans and anchovies. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in August 2023 the Best Before date is 15 months in the future but dates will vary. Good but I would prefer a stronger kimchi flavor.

3.5 stars if I could
This kimchi flavor rice noodle bowl is easy to make and pretty taste but at the current price of $15 for one bowl, I could get a takeout noodle bowl from a local restaurant with fresh vegetables and probably a bigger serving. To make the noodles simply open the package half way, dump out the flavoring packet, pour in boiling water to the fill line, lay cover back over bowls and wait 4 min. Once ready I found the rice noodles (note the noodles are only 50% rice and contain wheat flour too so not gluten free) we’re tender and the broth was spicy and tasty. If I didn’t know the flavor I am not sure I would have guessed it was kimchi flavor, but knowing the flavor I would say it does taste like kimchi. Besides the noodles, the flavoring packet has a little bit (very little) of dehydrated cabbage and scallions. Overall, this is a pretty good noodle bowl, but at the current price I do not think it is a good value and I probably would not get it again.

A Non-Fried Noodle That Is 50% Rice And Can Be Cooked In 4 Minutes With Only Boiling Water
Mr. Hoo Rice Noodle is a non-fried noodle that is 50% rice that can be cooked in 4 minutes needing only boiling hot water. The 3.25oz cup holds what looks like 2 bundles of rice noodles and a sealed kimchi broth envelope. To cook the noodles, you just need to add hot water to the line marked on the inside of the container and let it sit for 4 minutes. The finished noodle has a tender texture and delightful chew. The kimchi flavored broth is delicious as it has savory herbaceous notes from onion and garlic, umami notes from anchovy sauce and shiitake mushroom stems, vegetal notes of napa cabbage and spring onion, and spicy notes of red pepper and black pepper. There was also a confetti of rehydrated vegetables including spring onion and carrot sprinkled throughout the noodles that added color and a slight texture. I really enjoyed the pairing of the tender textured noodles and the rich flavor of the spicy kimchi broth. When it comes to cost, it is very high for an instant noodle product. As much as I enjoyed the flavor and texture of the noodle, I don't see how this product can charge such a high price. The bowl contains 320 Calories, 1.5g Total Fat, 70g Total Carbohydrates, and 7g Protein. It is a Product of Korea with a best by date of 15 months from the date that I received it. As much as I loved the flavor of this noodle, I don't see myself adding another order to my Amazon cart due to its ridiculously high cost.

One bowl
The good thing is that this rice noodle bowl tastes good. I would rate the hot level more on the medium side. The noodles are very thin. The bad thing is there isn’t a lot of dehydrated vegetables. You also only get one bowl.

Taste ok but noodles too mushy
I usually like noodle bowls. This one, not so much. The soup was flavorful and spicy, but the noodles were much too mushy.I follwed directions and added the spices plus boiling water to the bowl and waited 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, the noodles had turned soft and soggy. There was no soup left; the noodles had soaked it all up.While the taste was acceptable, the texture was not enticing. I ate half of it, but declined to try and save the rest for later as it was already coagulating.
