Nice little test kit it works well and I will purchase again

The test kit works as designed, and shows PH and chlorine levels. This is a product that has pretty much remained the same since I was a kid, which is how I feel about many pool products.One thing that I wish would change is the use of yellow in test kits. Yellow is difficult to see, even at high levels, and nearly impossible to see at low levels. I normally wind up walking around my yard looking for a surface that will let me properly read the color.This kit is great for day to day maintenance, but I prefer test strips at least once a week, or daily when I am doing the initial setup for the season.

Does what it says it will do, tests the water how I need it done. Good little kit for the price you can't go wrong.

This is an easy to use kit.A salesman at a hot tub store talked me into buying an expensive testing package when my original Jed Pool ran out of testing solution. It was so complicated I quit using it.Now I'm on my second of this kit and it does everything I need it to do.It's also fairly "color blind" friendly. I have a hard time with red-green and blues and that's not a problem.

My wife and I are pretty new to pool maintenance, and we found this test kit to be very easy to use. Great for the price, it seems to come with enough test solution to last a long time.Edit: The first pool season is over, and we still have test solution left over. We have been using a bi weekly anti algae chemical, and shock n swim weekly, and the pool has stayed pretty balanced =D

Not recommended. Great price but not usable. The color comparisons are not embeded in the plastic like all pool test kits I've ever seen They are stick-on labels and the gradient of yellow is so narrow that it's impossible to tell what the correct chlorine level is. One more thing, there is no "chlorine neutralizer" chemical for testing Ph. I've never seen that before but the acid test seemed to test OK without using a "cholrine neutralizer". I complained and was refunded 100%, and they did not ask that it be returned. Don't waste your time on this item. It shouldn't be on Amazon.

I decided to buy this kit because my other kit was running out of chemicals. I figured I would just buy a whole new kit. Mistake! First of all, the lids for each testing compartment don't really fit. You have to hold it down when you're mixing. Also, the color guide for the chlorine side, every color looks the same. All the yellow guides are the exact same color. The pH side is slightly better. I'm going to throw away the mixer and just keep the chemicals. This kit is four drops per side and the one I have is five drops. I'm hoping I can use the chemicals in my old mixer. Do yourself a favor and order a more expensive and higher rated kit. It will be worth it.

My dog chewed up my last pool testing kit and I was furious because I knew how expensive these testing kits can be. After a little searching I found this kit and decided to purchase it. This kit is very affordable and effective.
