These are pretty good supports. strong and versatile. Used for a potting shed greenhouse and was the most cost effective solution. One thing I would mention is to ensure the wooden frame is fully rigid - but this is no fault of the supports.

This set of risers arrives in a easy to recycle cardboard box. They are well made from an really tough plastic. Something that's easy capable of supporting the weight of wooden, aluminum and composite boards and joists.But these are not just basic static risers to keep your decking away from the ground, instead these have 2 several nifty features. Firstly there's some pre-drilled holes in the base plates. Which makes attaching these to solid surfaces, like concrete, quick and easy.Secondly. these are height adjustable, something thats done by simply turning the top ring. A ring that acts like a giant screw, which means one you've reached the desired height it will remain there. Plus the ring also has a upright section on the top.A section which acts like a support bracket, again using some pre-drilled holes, that you can screw decking boards or joists to. Something that happily accepts a wide thickness of materials. Great abilities that also make these very suitable for other projects. For example, making a customised board carrier to hold sheet goods.Overall ? Regardless of how you use them, this is a great product. Especially given you get 5 risers for under a tenner (at time of order) which is good value for money.

I am in the next couple of months needing to repair my decking, the section I need to rebuild is at the bottom of the steps and the garden has a slight downward slope, originally I just cut short legs to support the frame and I was never really happy with the fit, this time I am going to use these, much easier to adjust, just screw them to the frame and screw up or down the adjuster to get the level spot on.These look really strong, easy to fit and of course will not rot.
