USB-A works great
I was a little worried about this cable because the end that goes into the computer is an old-style USB-A plug instead of the new-style USB-C that plugs into the side of the Quest 3. But I had nothing to worry about-- as soon as I plugged this in, my Windows 10 PC identified my headset, and I've had no problems with this cable at all. In fact, it even seems to work better than the USB-C to USB-C cable I had been using before. As it turns out, while USB-C looks cooler and newer, USB-A plugs can carry signals just as fast, and my ASUS B550 motherboard has USB 3.2 Gen 2 plugs in both USB-C and USB-A. So, plugging this in was a breeze, and I got no complaints from Windows over using a cable to mixed plugs. On top of that technical hurdle, this is a superb cable. The braided sheath is tough as nails with thick, durable plugs on both ends. The cable is plenty long for me to walk around the room with the headset on, and the 90 degree plug stay out of my way as I move around. I really couldn't imagine a better USB cable for tethered VR, and I've learned not to judge USB-A plugs from now on!

Not copper cable, stuff aluminum...
This cable is made for a VR headset, although I use it for something else. I plan to use it and keep it in place, so its core material is of little consequence; however, when used with a VR headset, the aluminum core is very stiff. Using a VR headset requires the cable to bend and move easily, and aluminum will not last nearly as long as copper before the bending causes a break or short in the cable. For my purposes, it is acceptable as a stationary data transfer cable, but it was made and advertised as a cable for a VR headset. This requires a supple cord that will tolerate bending many times as you move using your headset. Had it been copper-cored, I would have rated it five stars. It had good ends, and I tested it for data transfer speed, and it easily handled 6Gbps.If I were using it for a VR headset, I would look for a copper cable, then a magnet to help hold it in, as one review mentioned, might not even be needed.

Useless for anything other than charging
Was looking for a replacement cord for my VR but this does not work for what i needed it for. Only charges, doesnt connect to computer for over a second. Waste of time and money.

Great for VR Gaming with Flexibility
This CLEEFUN braided link cable is a fantastic accessory for my Quest 2. The 16ft length gives me plenty of room to move around without feeling restricted, which is crucial for an immersive VR experience. The connection is stable, and I love the 90-degree USB-C port design that fits perfectly into the headset, avoiding any loose connections. It's also super durable, thanks to the nylon braided design, which seems to hold up well even after heavy use. Highly recommended for VR users!

Robust cable that doesn't tangle during VR use.
We use this cable with out MetaQuest VR headset, and it is much better than the 'official' link cable. This one doesn't twist up, and it is made much better. The Oculus App recognizes it as a cable that meets all its requirements for playing Steam Link VR games, and it can also just be used to charge the headset.

Didn't work...at first
I'm not sure what happened the first time I plugged in the CLEEFUN Braided Link Cable 16ft for Meta/Oculus Quest 3, Quest 2 Pro Pico 4, but it didn't work, at all, no signal and no sign of a signal. It maybe has a short somewhere or it could be the sequence of connections that I did. Anyway, I tried again and low and behold it worked. Wasn't glitchy or shorting out or anything. I hope it was just my fault and that the cable is fine.I like this cable. It has nice strong ends but not so big that they won't fit in to some devices, either due to a case or just doesn't fit. That is not an issue with this cable, it plugged in to my devices fine.I thought I liked the braided casing on my cables but this particular one has presented me with an issue. I use small hook and loop straps to keep the cable from moving around on my Quest 2, and to protect the USB C port on the headset. The braided casing doesn't grab my straps so it moves around anyway even though it is tied down in 2 places. This makes me worry about undue stress on the port in the headset. The headset was just too expensive to take a chance that the weight of the cable will damage it.Don't get me wrong, I will use this cable for sure. But not on my Quest 2. I'll have to modify something about the cable before I use it for that.
