Too much hassle!
This Dinosaur Park in an Egg is cheaply made and too much of a hassle for me.First, it comes with all the items in picture 1 and the only instructions are what is on the side of the box, so it's takes some figuring out as to what order you need to assemble things. I will provide directions in a minute, if you choose to order this toy kit.Second, the volcano operates on 3 AA batteries and a tiny screwdriver is provided to get into the battery compartment. Once I unscrewed the door to insert the batteries, the little screw would not screw back in, no matter how much pressure I used.Third, you must disassemble EVERYTHING to be able to close the egg back up. The parts don't easily go together, nor do they come apart easy. (I ripped my thumbnail down to the hilt disassembling it.)Lastly, once you have it disassembled, you really have to work to get the pieces back inside in a manner that will allow you to close the egg. (Pic 11) The egg was bulging on the hinge side (pic 12) and the latch was difficult to keep shut. I was able to get everything, but the volcano back in the egg. (pic 13)Now for directions:1. After opening, attach the smaller of the 2 green parts to the front. (pic 4)2. Assemble the other green part and the 2 yellow pieces. (pic 5)3. Insert the peg under the 1 yellow piece into the hole in the volcano. (pic 6)4. Attach the green piece to the upper part of the egg on the right side (pic 7), position the volcano onto it's nubs, and then attach the lower part to the front area (in back of the first green piece you put on.) (pic 8)5. Place stickers on all signs. Attach/insert signs and fencing into their holes according to the picture on the box. (pic 8) The 2 little trees have holes and the rest are stand-alone pieces to put where you choose, inside or outside of the egg.6. Picture 10 shows the completely assembled set. (Another note: Only the two tiny dinos on wheels will go down the ramp. The other 3 larger "cars" do not fit on the ramp. I guess they are just for play outside of the egg.)Overall, I was not impressed with the set, but I did like the little "cars". I was very disappointed that it was not just a fold-and-put-away kind of thing. We have too many toys to pick up and this would most likely stay put together and open and parts would get lost quickly. Very inconvenient and I would not recommend it.

This was an absolute HIT for a gift to our 3yo grandson!
Our grandson is ALL about dinosaurs and we gave him this gift for his 3rd birthday. He was so excited and couldn't wait to get this opened, set up and start playing with it. With our grandson's help this was fairly easy to get unboxed and ready for play. He has played with this for hours and has truly enjoyed each of the pieces, but mostly the dinos with wheels going down the slide. I just am tickled watching him play with it.

Several different toys in one
Some of the items in this set were just laying in the outer box not wrapped. The egg shape which is the base of the unit was pushed together in a way that it had to be pried apart. There is a dinosaur claw that is a clasp to hold the egg shut but nowhere does it tell you HOW to get the egg open. I turned and twisted it and tried to put it, but it would not open. Although counterintuitive you push it to get it to unlatch. I put it together (leaving the egg open) and gave it to a three year old pre-assembled (minus the volcano). There are two little cars that will go down the track. There are three larger dinosaur cars that move when you pull them back. They have nothing to do with the large egg and track, they are just a random extra thing. There is a dinosaur egg and plastic nest that is larger than any of the cars or dinosaurs. There is a bag of 6 -10 small dinosaurs which again have nothing to do with the track, but can be played with. The little boy to whom I gave the toy loves dinosaurs and was with his mom in quarantine due to illness, so it gave him several toys with which to play. A three year old would not know how to assemble this. As an adult I looked at the picture on the box and put it together. It must be unassembled if you want to close the egg.
