Working well with a netgear M7 hot spot
We ordered this "9dBi External 4G LTE 5G TS9 Magnetic Base Antenna" by Slinkdsco to use in our RV. We have a netgear hotspot with AT&T service. Some areas were really bad for us with streaming shows to the smart TV. Since they claimed it was compatible with "Netgear, AT&T Nighthawk MR6110 MR6500 M6 Pro M5 MR5100 MR5200 M1 MR1100 Verizon Hotspots Router", we thpught it was worth a try. We actually have the Netgear Nighthawk M7 Pro that wasn't listed in the title, and it works great! Highly recommended!

Effective Signal Booster for Informed Users
This 9dBi external antenna delivers on its promise of improved signal strength, but it's crucial to understand its limitations. Unlike a simple Wi-Fi router, optimal performance requires knowledge of nearby cell tower locations and signal strength testing. This antenna is best suited for users who are willing to research and experiment with positioning for maximum gain, as simply plugging it in won't guarantee a "magical" signal boost. While the built-in antennas on most routers suffice, this product is a valuable tool for those seeking to enhance their connection, provided they're willing to invest time in proper setup and understanding their carrier's network.

Didn't work out for me.
I got this to connect to my Netgear MR1100 4G hotspot.ProsIn concept, it looks like a good idea to use this.ConsThe magnet at the base is not strong at all.NitpicksI didn't notice any improvements to my signal strength when compared to other antennas. It may have been my location, or I got a bad antenna.Overall, it did not work well for my needs. I will have to look elsewhere.

Well Made Antenna for 4G/5G Hotspots – Be Sure It's What You Need
I originally thought these antennas were for WiFi, but they are actually designed for 4G LTE and 5G cellular connections. That was an oversight on my part, so I wanted to mention it in case others are looking for WiFi antennas. That said, these antennas feel solid, and the magnetic base holds securely to metal surfaces. The TS9 connectors appear well made, and based on the specs, they should work with compatible hotspots and cellular routers.Since I don’t have the right device to test them, I can’t verify signal improvements, but the materials and design seem well thought out. If you need external antennas for a supported 4G/5G hotspot, these could be a good option. Just double check compatibility before purchasing.

Decent enough...
This is a mid-level antennae for a hot-spot or motherboard WiFi. It looks exactly like the one that came with my Asus ROG motherboard. It really feels like it's all bark and no bite. It has next to no weight to it. The magnet strength is ok. I know it's just a few wires connected to a small motherboard inside and a bunch of plastic on the exterior to make it look like more than it is. The fact that this looks and performs exactly like the one that came with my Asus board tells me that these are mass produced at the same or similar factory and companies buy them and add them to their offerings or sell them as is. It's generic and has absolutely no writing on it (not even the country of origin). The performance of it is up for debate depending on how far away you are from the WiFi source. When you buy an antennae, you want to buy it from a company that specializes in WiFi antenna's, not fly by night vendors. I use these antenna's on my hot-spots at my apartment buildings for the security camera's. The performance is decent enough. I'd give this antennae 3.5 stars.

No signal Iimprovement at all!
I connected this antenna to my Netgear Nighthawk MR1100 and do not see any signal improvementin my path of 32 miles from home to work on TMobile's network. It also has a weak magnetic base.

Decent Signal Boost, But Not a Miracle Worker
This Slinkdsco 9dBi antenna is a decent option for boosting your 4G/5G signal, but manage your expectations. The magnetic base makes it easy to attach to my Netgear Nighthawk M1 router, and the 2-meter cable provides some flexibility. Installation was a breeze; just plug it in and you're good to go. I did see some improvement in signal strength, but it was minimal – maybe one extra bar at best. The omnidirectional design is convenient, but I didn't notice a dramatic increase in speed. It's compatible with a wide range of hotspots, which is a plus. The 180° rotation allows for some adjustment, but finding the "sweet spot" was tricky. Overall, it's a decent antenna for slightly improving a weak signal. If you're in a dead zone, don't expect miracles. It's a good option for a little extra boost, but not a magic bullet.
