I was having a problem getting my garage door to close when the sun was shining directly on the opening. I tried several things then decided to change out my sensors.The instructions were good and even mentioned to install the sensor with the green light away from the direct sun.My door has worked great ever since.

These work perfectly, in fact better than the OEM units. Would give 5 stars but the supplied wire splicers are flimsy and don't hold. I ended up using wire nuts.

Wow big surprise. Honestly I didn't expect this to work with older model that is 30 years old. I have 41A4315-6C and connection to sensor become loose so I tried this one and it was compatible. Very simple just connect black wire to black and white to white. Big Thanks.

Replaced my original sensors and they work, but... the LEDs are on the side of the sensor that bolts to the bracket. You have to align them by eyeball because you cannot see the LED when the sensor is mounted. It does not matter because the light beam is fairly broad so they don't need to be perfectly aligned, but it still is a silly design.

The light indicator is on the same side as the screw so I am unable to see it because of how the sensor attaches to the bracket.The wire connectors were hard to use so I used wire nuts. It was pretty easy to install.It works great with my older model Sears garage door opener.

Our old sensors were damaged and I replaced 2 pairs with these and have worked perfectly for past 4 months.
