Heavy, made for home or office use. It can be folded down and fit in a laptop bag, but is very solid and heavy. This is great for sitting or standing as it folds flat or extends upward to support your laptop for standing as well. The Peltier cooling unit works very well and reduces the operating temperature of my laptop appreciably. Love that the cooling unit is easily removed and can be set to whatever position your cooling ports are on the bottom of your laptop.I use my phone's 35w adapter and a usb-c male to usb-c male cable. A wall outlet usb port will not power the peltier cooler very well, but any phone charger adapter over 25w should do nicely. The cooling function is solid state, so the only noise comes from the 2 fans, and they aren't loud enough to cause distraction.Very good value if your laptop runs hot, and actually, even if not! Quality build, good price.

I'm surprised by the build quality - the materials are strong and has a bit of weight to it. The fan is very quiet and the semiconductor pad reaches a cold temperature quickly. I also didn't realize that it swivels as well which is actually a neat and rare function to see amongst laptop stands and fans altogether.My only complaint is the platform has a small surface area and isn't ideal for larger laptops and is better for smaller laptops. I initially purchased this to use it for my 15.4" Macbook Pro which tends to overheat. Sicnce, my Macbook is larger in size causing it to wobble when I place/remove my hands from the keyboard. Despite that, my Macbook does feel stable overall while on the stand.However, I will be keeping this as build and functionality is of great value - I'll continue to use it for my other devices as well.
