Major software issue, average quality, great welds!
Update - The seller reached out and provided excellent customer service, the missing accessories were shipped to me and they said on future batches the unit conversion and brightness would be fixed. The machine makes beautiful welds without needing to change the default settings. The overall quality is average for a machine in this price range. I purchased this for $270 in april 2025. One of the things I like about it is the gas inlet is an actual fitting instead of a barb so no hose clamp required. The reason for my rating is the "thickness" conversion is incorrect (see photo). 3.2 mm does not equal 1.248 inches. they misplaced the decimal point. This makes it very difficult to use the synergetic mode. The screen is not bright enough to use outdoors in direct sunlight, youll need to make sure its pointed away from the sun or cover the screen in order to read it.The machine was also shipped to me in a broken and busted up box, in used condition, and missing a couple of accessories (tips, drive rollers). When i unpacked it there was splatter and dust and dirt all over it, and not just regular dust from shipping/manufacturing this was splatter from welding.

The interface menu is clunky af, but it's a good machine at a good price.
The interface menu is bad. Real clunky, awkward, and non-intuitive. The function of the machine is great though, and it does save the last settings so you don't have to play in the bad interface too much. The amps output is accurate on the meter (sorry didn't snip a pic.) Set at 100 amps it put out 101. At the price ($270,) this is an excellent machine that does pulse, well cheaper than all other pulse mig machines on Amazon.

8 IN 1 MIG Welder
The media could not be loaded. 8 IN 1 MIG Welder: Supports Gas MIG, MAG, Gasless Flux MIG, Stick, LIFT TIG, Spot Welding, Spool Gun connector . This welder is a little different than I expected, but not in a bad way. I'm not a professional welder. I've never used a wire feed welder prior to purchasing this welder. I have a fair amount of experience with stick welders.I purchased this to have something more versatile A multiprocess welder makes sense for a capable hobbyist. Did some looking around and settled on this one, seemed to have the best capabilities, cost, and other decent reviews. Unboxed and everything was there, This is when I figured out things controls amperage, voltage and wire speed. There is a chart in the manual that provides information on this. Being new to wire feed, this made the learning curve very short. I was able to get decent welds with good penetration very quickly and not worry about figuring out the wire speed and voltage

Good welder
Maybe not for beginners really. But nice welder. Lots of options with the types of welding you can do. I've been mostly testing with arc and flux core welding. Materials feel pretty sturdy and well built. The touchscreen is maybe not the greatest as you have to remove gloves to use it... a couple more physical knobs would make it a little easier to use. Plus it feels like i may break the touchscreen i've already hit it once with a piece of iron.Unit delivers decent arcs and the feed speeds are well dialable.

I wish That I had This Welder Twenty Years Ago
Twenty years ago I owned an old style Lincoln welder which of course only did MMA welding. I recently have a need for a updated multi function welder that does not cost $1000 dollars. I wanted to use flux core Mig welding but I had never tried this type of welding. This Guozhi in my opinion is a very affordable nice welder. This welder has eight functions and is suitable for most DIY not very experienced welders (that's me) and more . This welder comes with most of the accessories that you will need to begin welding except for the welding wire or rods. The welder has a nice large clear LED display with so many options that the biggest problem that I had to overcome was understanding the settings that I needed to begin Mig welding. It is a learning experience when you are use to only using welding rods. Setting up the flux core wire spool to feed through the gun was easy and straight forward. The machine will set the welding amperage and feed speed for the type of metal and thickness. I started on some 1/16 sheets of steel and I was surprised at how well I could weld with this machine. The Mig gun is comfortable and well made as all the accessories are. I am using the welder on 110 volts and for the type of metal that I will be using the welds penetrate fine and look good. The machine is pretty quite and has all the built in protection that is in more expensive welders. Not having to hold and replace welding rods sure makes welding a lot more pleasant and fast! I am excited to learn the other welding functions in the future. This is a nice welding machine!

Versatile and easy to start up
This is a versatile and powerful machine that offers an impressive 8-in-1 functionality, including gas MIG, gasless flux core, lift TIG, stick welding, and more. The large LED display makes it easy to navigate settings, and it works on both 110V and 220V, giving flexibility in different work environments. It's great for aluminum welding with its pulse MIG feature, and the spool gun option is a nice touch. This welder is well-made, easy to set up, and perfect for tackling a variety of welding tasks.
