The preferred towel in the house.
My husband didn’t think he needed a “luxury” towel. He said it’s the softest towel he has ever used and while we still have other towels available this is the one he uses.

Faded after first use
After first use of the washcloth it took on a noticeable purple hue. Otherwise the towels are soft and luxurious.

High quality towels a little pricey but worth it
Was a gift for my dad for christmas he is in love with the quality. Coming from a 79 year old who is very picky on towels. Lol

Not a fluffy towel person but...
UPDATE:After about 6 weeks of using these towels exclusively for bathing and hand washing, I have a couple comments (and have reduced my star rating from 5 to 3)...1) Main complaint, I can't put my finger on it exactly but these just feel somewhat synthetic. My review below talks about the fact that I'm not a fluffy towel person and like a good, sometimes scratchy, fully cotton towel. With using these exclusively for showers, baths, and the hand towels for hand washing / face washing, multiple washes per manufacturer directions over the last month and a half, something just does NOT FEEL RIGHT.I haven't pinpointed it yet but skin contact for me just doesn't feel super good. They do seem to somewhat lose some absorbency over time and washes. They were better after the first couple of washes and uses. AMy husband also commented he doesn't really want to use these (but we spent $150 on towels so... We're using them lol).2) They have gotten less fluffy with use and washes which is good for me, a non-fluffy-towel-person but again, something is amiss. They certainly don't have the feel of a microfiber (eek) but it honestly does not feel like true cotton. I'm really not liking them but for the color and the money spent (sunk cost fallacy).3) We don't use dryer sheets. That's something I want to highlight here. Dryer sheets can leave a residue and we don't use them because of that -- whether clothing, sheets, towels, etc.... So these towels go in the dryer on low without anything but themselves. I'm not sure if dryer sheets would make these softer over time or not, but that's not really my issue with them.4) Major highlight: the green is holding its color with washing and drying. I'm happy about that. They still are more of a eucalyptus silvery green vs a moss or true sage. They are pretty!5) I will probably go back to my usual brand Chortex which makes scratchy true cotton towels that have lasted years and years. They're harder to come by (not sure if the company is going out of business or what) but I just can't get past the texture of these SLK Home towels. They will go in the guest bathroom as soon as I replace them.ORIGINAL REVIEWI like these a lot! Purchased for our newly built bathroom. I am a fan of the "scratchy," no fuss, straight cotton towels that dry your skin and dry well while hanging, wash well, etc. I don't get the fluffy towel craze and I'm not a "soft fluffy towel" person, but decided to splurge on these due to reviews and the color (sage). My overall impression: after washing, I was surprised by the minimal lint in the dryer. I followed the instructions. Towels ARE soft but not like a microfiber material, thankfully, and they do feel like a true cotton, but softer. I like that one side is textured while the other is smoother. Visually when hanging I can choose which side I want to display. They dry well, especially my hair which I appreciate. I don't feel like I have to re-dry my skin after the first pass over with these towels. The bath towels air-dry well on a hook after use. The hand towels definitely need to be hung on a hand towel bar or a knob, to dry out fully, if you do a lot of handashing, which we do in my house. I found the price reasonable per towel. They aren't THE BEST TOWELS I HAVE EVER HAD, but again I'm not a fluffy soft towel person. I can definitely foresee using and enjoying them over the next couple of years. I'm considering buying a set for my guests.Another note for those using skincare products, the manufacturer wants to not use these in combination with things like salicylic acid, etc. so I've kept a couple old hand towels to wipe off skin care products including SPF, after applying. Also, sage green color is more along the lines of a silvery eucalyptus than a true warm sage. For those wondering. Does not bother me at all, I like the color.
