This portafilter fits my KitchenAid espresso machine perfectly. It is a very tight fit, but loosens up a bit over time. As with all bottomless portafilters, there is an initial learning curve to get your grind size and tamping pressure perfected. Until you do that, some spraying and leaks are to be expected. But, once you have your grind size and tamp pressure dialed in, it will make an excellent espresso with a beautiful crema. The portafilter is very easy to clean. A slight tap will release the puck each time.

Fit my Calphalon Temp IQ with no problem. Included filter works great but has a bit of an edge gap. With proper puck prep, I get a clean shot with a nice crema. I put some wood oil on the handle to keep it from getting water damage.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely recommend upgrading.Really hard to find things for the Casabrews (for me at least) this works for the 5700Gense. This one is very good quality just like most of the Casabrews items that come standard but definitely worth the upgrade.There will be a lot of spitting/spilling but that’s not the portafilter that is your coffee grind and tamping. Play around the grind settings. Based on my research typical for 2 shots of expresso it’s 18g.Hope this helps!

In case you were interested, this perfectly fits my Gevi unit with the normcore 18g portafilter. I'm able to stuff 22g fresh ground espresso and get perfect extraction. Highly recommend if this fits your machine.
