We wanted a countertop ice maker and this one had the added benefit of dispensing the ice. It does have its pros and cons. Pros It is easy to add water to the water holding tank and it produces quite a bit of ice with each cycle. Cons As most reviewers stated, it runs loudly so I anticipated that. I didn’t anticipate it dispensing ice so slowly.

Works great! I like the lever dispensing instead of everyone reaching in a bucket with a scoop. Feels more sanitary and works well for a large family. Water tank holds a lot of water and the cover keeps it clean and fresh ..we have ours under our patio of course out of the sun. family approved
